I’m writing to express my sincere appreciation for the MRFF and Mikey’s team for their guidance during my career.

I’m a retired Air Force officer and fighter pilot who served more than 20 years.  I remember, during Basic Cadet Training at the Air Force Academy, being asked to decide whether I’d go to evening chapel, or be a part of “heathen flight” and stay back at the dorms. From that point on, I had become resigned to accepting the pressure of religiosity in the military, and the associated fear and risk of having beliefs that differed from those of my leadership.

But around 2015, the MRFF offered me hope as I dealt with a sexist and overtly religious workplace environment.

The MRFF understands the military, the law, and the constant attempts by individuals and organizations to challenge the 1st Amendment and the secular nature of our constitution.

Mikey is aggressive—let there be no mistake.  He ruffles feathers because he holds others accountable and does not bow to threats or intimidation.

Regardless of your gender, sexual orientation, race, or religion (or lack thereof), as a member of the armed forces, the MRFF is here to advise and represent you with 100% confidentiality, and at no cost.  There is hope.
