New House Speaker Mike Johnson is Christian Nationalist on Steroids Who Has Already Shown His Hatred of MRFF’s Success

By now most of you have probably read at least a bit about newly-ordained Christian pastor … um, Speaker of the House … Mike Johnson’s long pedigree as a champion of Christian nationalism who spent his pre-Congress career working to turn our secular government institutions into bastions of biblical law.
As a lawyer for the Alliance Defense Fund (now Alliance Defending Freedom), along with several other erstwhile Christian nationalist legal organizations he created, he vociferously fought against LGBTQ rights, reproductive freedom, and for the infiltration of Christianity into public schools and other public institutions.
In May 2020, twenty members of Congress wrote a letter to the Secretary of Defense decrying several of the pandemic-era victories that MRFF had had in stopping certain chaplains and one field grade officer from taking advantage of the COVID crisis and lockdowns to aggressively promote their version of Christianity. One of the twenty Congress members who signed this anti-MRFF letter, which as I wrote at the time was far from factual, was none other than Mike Johnson, the new Speaker of the House!

Awesome, now we can expedite the extinction of MRFF.
Ndnsj, you’d want to do this why? Would you want chaplains or commanders of other faiths proselytizing to you without anyone to defend your rights against being forced to worship their gods?
If that’s what you want, pray to your god that the MRFF be prevented from representing service members and their families when commanders and religious figures overstep the bounds of the Constitution.
But remember this: service members and their families have a legal right to representation of their choice in legal actions, and First Amendment cases and the protections written into DoD and Service instructions, along with the UCMJ, follow the Constitution. Thus, the MRFF will, thankfully, be with us for a long time to come.
Ndnsj Is all in for theocracy believing as all theocrats do that they and theirs will be the ones in charge. History is filled with tales of such folks finding out the error of their ways.
As I’ve been told many times when one has riled up the trolls then you’re doing whatever you’re doing correctly. As the MRFF supports our Constitution over any religion I’d have to say they stand on the correct side of history.
God Bless America!
Who’s God Warren Wright? Yours? Mine?
Do we have a cage match to the death and let the best god win?
How about we both keep our faith in our pants and allow the public square to be neutral space. Of course you can’t keep your Christian nationalist bonafides this way (forced proselytizing IS what y’all are known for).
Is it who’s or whose? My brain is having a time of it and after looking it up I’m more confused than when I started. English, specifically American, is not an easy language.
MAGA Mike’s (the new Speaker of the House) first order of business will be shutting down the Government in just a short couple of weeks as the Trumplicans try to gut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Of course, they (Congressional Reps) pay less in Social Security taxes, as a percentage of pay, than someone earning $40K per year.
The next action by Trumplicans will be to ensure Addicted-Donald has enough Adderall and Benzodiazepine to snort along with bronzer #2 to cover his Benjamin Button complexion, followed by a National abortion rights ban, all while holding hearings – again – on the size of Hunter Biden’s dick! Their hung-up on the size of Catholic dicks for some reason, their protestant Christianity seemingly fueled by an innate sexual desire.
Their Right-To-Life position is code for “we need kids born that will later work to support our lavish lifestyles and, less we forget, the Industrial for-profit Prison Industry.” You know, kids that will do “God’s work!”
Simply put, these Christian Nationalists are not pro life, they’re pro birth! They couldn’t give two shits less what happens to those kids once born, unless, of course, there’s profit involved! You know, like for-profit charter schools they can siphon off public education money from as they “Christianize”
America.
They’ll cut money for Ukraine but give Israel all it needs to let Netanyahu kill little Muslim babies.
Another Christian Trumplican perpetrated the mass shooting in Maine? MAGA Mike blames the Godlessness of this country for the shooting. Cowardice and Christianity have merged into synonymous terms, lack of personal responsibility, accountability, and avarice the new Christian creed.
As John said, the MRFF is going to be around for a long time to come!
Show the MAGA mother fuckers the door in 24!
We’ll do a Go-Fund-Me to support Trump’s drug habit while he’s in jail!
“Ndnsj, you’d want to do this why? Would you want chaplains or commanders of other faiths proselytizing to you without anyone to defend your rights against being forced to worship their gods?”
Not at all, totally believe in separation… I just dont like MRFF. Nothing but Christian haters. I also dont like the fact that its a non profit and is extremely politically biased. This is not allowed in a non profit. I also dont like the fact that Mickey Mouse has a 300k income off of donations and profiting from fighting Christianity. Thats a wild salary for a non profit corporate officer.
It’s said Michael is in the CLOSET😘
But you’re OK with the non-profit scam that Jared and Ivanka ran while playing senior advisors, not to mention the Trump Klan grift to the tune of billions?
Or churches, as adjunct Republican political wings being tax free entities?
MRFF salaries not even budget dust by comparison.
Come on Jism, you can do better.

If you had evidence of wrongdoing you’d be registering your issues with the authorities. Instead you come here to whinge because someone is living their authentic life.
Writing ones congress critter, advocating for elected officials and Military officers be held accountable according to their oath and the Constitution may be considered political actions but in no way does it mean MRFF is political.
What is political is a pastor in a church telling their congregants to vote for a specific person. What is criminal are churches making billions in tax free dollars only for them to use those monies not to help their parishioners but to back political candidates through dark money PACS.
Where is the condemnation for them?
Oh yeah, this is personal for you Ndnsj and rather than act like an adult you behave like the toddler you clearly resemble. Perhaps you need a nap? How about a sippy cup? Oh wait – a round of I’m made of rubber, you’re made of glue?
Sigh. Fun times.
If you had evidence of wrongdoing you’d be registering your issues with the authorities. Instead you come here to whinge because someone is living their authentic life.
Incorrect .. if i had TIME. I surely would, and dont think Im not heavily considering it. Just a matter of time
Form 13909 headed towards the IRS in the next month. Expect it.
If you had time??? ROFLMFAO
With the amount of time you spend trolling here you could have written a book as long and detailed as Tolstoy’s War and Peace.
Also – you do know governmental agencies take a dim view of frivolous and revenge based reporting. They have no sense of humor about these things. Choose your path wisely grasshopper.
Takes two seconds to troll, takes careful planning and preparation to go back through multiple MRFF posts and to present as an an attachment, and craft a very carefully worded email to the IRS. Please don’t make any mistake… this is something I’m extremely good at.
And with that comment Nsjs I’ve a very good idea of who you are. And if I know I’m certain that the powers that be at MRFF know too.
Carefully worded… you mean your facts aren’t facts but bias? Say it ain’t so!!!!
Sounds like someone with lots of time on their hands and loads of rent-free MAGAT parking space in his head.
I’m sure the MRFF is worried, given someone of his great stature and trolling mediocrity. The IRS will jump right on it once they see who the complainant is!
“A complaint from Jism? OK, we’re going to two shifts. This is serious! Call out the National Guard!”
“Someone call Mike Johnson! We want another look at Benghazi! And tell MGT we got some more Hunter Biden pics to salivate over! Where are we with Obama’s brown suits? Get on it people! The House needs talking points! Chop, chop!”
k
awsome a man with some principle and earing god and stopping all the crazy people who think theirs all kinds of genders and gay and all that destroying our country killing babies and destroying our children minds god bless america yes GOD the kink of kinks and lord of lord who created one man and one woman only no other kind
Nsjs doesn’t know even basic facts about MRFF, yet wishes to complain about it to the IRS. MRFF is overwhelmingly a Christian-populated organization. It doesn’t attack Christians or Christianity and it never has. It stands up for the freedom of religion for all that is mandated by the constitution and military regulations. Most of MRFF’s clients are in fact Christians who are alarmed at the curtailing of religious freedom in our military branches.
We get it. Those who are against freedom of religion know they are hypocrites. They try to mask their religious bigotry in Christian persecution complaints. But we know that’s a straw man argument against the true goals and actions of the MRFF, Mikey, and the MRFF Board.
Now now Jeff, you’ll confuse Nsjs with facts. They have a hard enough time getting by as it is.
harlan griggs; an excellent poster child for why we must vote blue no matter who until the MAGA death cult is removed from power.
Remember people like harlan griggs vote. Do you really think humans who espouse what Harlan repeats will stop with the humans you dislike? Have you read history because I have and spoiler alert, the coming purity tests are a real killer.
“harlan griggs; an excellent poster child for why we must vote blue no matter who until the MAGA death cult is removed from power”. Thanks for illustrating my point. This is the political will of MRFF in a nutshell.
I have no hard time getting by? Thats funny coming from the charity case.
Republican MAGATs, like Harlan, are simply products of their own Nationalism reinforced on the Right, particularly, the religious right.
The “owners” of the Christian franchises know their business is waning, those under 29 more secular and not interested in going back to the “old days” of good Christian values (I won’t add the current display of those values by their Congressional leaders). All exacerbated by the “boomers” as they check out without replacements.
They (the Christian Right), turn to fear as their only tool left in the tool box to sustain their legacies and extend the franchise like a K-Mart in its last days.
They run the “victim script” in an endless loop, which shuts out any attempt, even within their own group, to move forward. You can’t see opportunities when you’re a victim, only enemies!
And their enemies are everywhere! Just ask one of them.
They’ll rail on about all the evils in the world, many imagined (queers, trans, CRT, Mr. Potato Head, green energy, Hunter Biden’s genitalia, women’s rights, the black and brown people, the Jews, space lasers, adrenochrome, getting God back in school, et al.), but they’ll never give you any policy prescription that would make the lives of any American better, to include their own!
Mike Johnson may be the “blessing” that Democrats need for a clean sweep in 24 as people come to realize that the Republicans have done nothing since they took the House but run their mouths. Johnson’s draconian legislative moves, instead of bringing people closer to God, may just piss God off enough to make sure the Democrats get control of the country and we can start moving forward again!
GOP – Our The Door In 24!

Actually what I wrote was my First Amendment right, not MRFF policy.
Charity case. Nice. Yep, ya got me. Medically disabled means not being able to work which is a curse and a pain you’ve never known and you’d better pray to the laws of chance you aren’t struck down in a likewise manner because being at the mercy of politicians is not for the weak.
I stand by my assessment. When you haven’t any facts to win the debate you always revert to insults. Ha! Means I win this round.
Does Nsjs have any specific examples of MRFF advocating for ANY specific “political” issue, other than ones directly related to religious activity in the military or US government?
Today the NBC News website is claiming that Mike Johnson has been advocating for religious freedom. Wow, what a whopper of a lie. He is promoting false notions about the history and purpose of the establishment clause, and he is advocating for forcing his religious beliefs on the entire nation through law. That isn’t considered religious freedom by sane, honest people
