Sorry, I miss read your first letter… Why would we want to disgrace the US Constitution and the VA own regulations by putting that Bible back on the table, brother?… Please help us, celebrate the constitutionally, mandated, separation of church and state by the removal of that sectarian Christian Bible in a government facility…CELEBRATION!!… In case you missed it, we are representing 12 VA patients from that hospital seven of whom are Christian themselves…

When we get 13 VA patients that want the Bible back on the table. How long will it take for you to send an email to Director Russell Armstead demanding the Bible be put back?

Hi there (name withheld)… You see little fella, it has nothing to do with the numbers… As the recently late former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor sagaciously, said from the bench, “in America, we don’t count heads before enforcing the first amendment”… I hope that helps…?… Mikey W.… military Religious Freedom Foundation

Took me a few tries to understand the intent of the letter writer. So, to sum up

The letter writer believes if they have enough people writing in to add their specific holy book to the POW/MIA table the MRFF has to help them violate the Constitution and regulations governing the VA?

    Did I understand that correctly?

Because these fragile veterans don’t see their holy book on a table representing every veteran they are prohibited from worshiping as they see fit?

Since when was bullying an accepted religious belief because I have a few sincerely held beliefs of my own and if this is really a thing…

Of course it isn’t. This is fragile Christian nationalists trying to regain the privilege they’ve mistaken as a right.

Learn to share letter writer because the alternative will not play out as you think it will.

As a civilian bystander, i ask why there needs to be a bible at a dining table at all, of any religion?

    Spot on Mary.

It’s because the Christians get butt hurt if they don’t get to monopolize the narrative with their Christian persecution story.
