Oh, he’s a member of Doug Wilson’s church. Well, that explains a lot.
This paragraph here: “Members of Wilson’s flock are admitted only after an intense theological grilling from a board of elders. There’s also a system of church courts that metes out punishments for heresy.”
Doug learned after his last church kicked him out over his strident beliefs. Now he has a vetting process to ensure no one rats him out for his over the line practices. By doing all this he and his congregation are no different than ISIL or the Taliban in my opinion.
There is an ennui amongst Americans here/now. Regular citizens have done all the things that used to work but didn’t this time. Elected leaders who should (I know, shoulda/coulda/woulda) be defending our Constitution look the other way. They’ve normalized what is totally not normal.
What to do then? Well, when I’m in a box and there is no forward, back, left or right I think outside the box. Unpredictable, keeping ones own moral compass use the rules as laid down by the opponent. And by opponent I mean enemies domestic. Here me clearly, those who are doing their best to take over our government and turn it into a theocracy will have no use for most regular American citizens. So, it’s all hands on deck. If you think of a thing and believe it’s in alignment of defending the Constitution, well do it. Do you need your parking ticket validated? I have my stamp ready with a fresh pad of ink. Bam – you have permission kids to do what you think is best. The only heroes available here/now are us. You’ve got this. How do I know? Kids – you survived the era of school shootings. You are braver than you realize.
