Pastor Douglas Wilson was quoted saying, “Women are the kind of people that people come out of.” There are a few important words missing here. While I’m sure Pastor Wilson didn’t overlook those words, permit me to add them. Those words are, “turn to for help to” and “cults”.
The correct sentence should read, “Women are the kind of people that people turn to for help to come out of cults.” Cults, that is, like the one SecDef Hegseth is promoting with his wholly unwarranted support of Pastor Wilson. The Secretary of Defense is supposed to promote unit cohesion, and denigrating the worth and dignity of ANY service member for who they are does NOTHING to promote unit cohesion!
I agree with Pasteurized Wilson, just wished I’d gotten in a different line before being born!
