Since about a year, I have made it a point to ask every single US teenager I meet, and I meet a lot of them,
what the Crusades were.
NOT ONE KNEW.
Not a single one.
Teaching history. After teaching literacy, the number one task for the US school system.
And on a different track : I wish us French anarchists had fighters like you !!! Sigh…
