The comment on this site earlier from “name withheld” starts out sounding like a legitimate statement, and soon turns into a rant in true Weinstein style calling for him to “burn and scream in hell”, repeating the words as in a chant, and ending with a gross misspelling of the word “Halleluiah.”
Problem is, no Christian I know would EVER talk that way. In fact, that rant is so ANTI-godly it sounds like something Weinstein himself would write – or one of his minions (and I have no doubt that his handiwork was here). I believe that statement no more represented a prayer circle or “dream” than the man on the moon.
Who is “name withheld” kidding? How typical of the radical left – to blame Christians, then, when Christians don’t rant and rave on cue, to BECOME a “name withheld” and falsely REPRESENT a Christian or group of Christians so the world can turn on them.
That rant sounds far too much like Weinstein’s own rant in the Fox News Article of April 30th:
“If a member of the military is proselytizing in a manner that violates the law, well then of course they can be prosecuted,” he said. “We would love to see hundreds of prosecutions to stop this outrage of fundamentalist religious persecution…When those people are in uniform and they believe there is no time, place or manner in which they can be restricted from proselytizing, they are creating tyranny, oppression, degradation, humiliation and horrible, horrible pain upon members of the military,” he said…”Non-compliance, the Pentagon suggests, even from ordained chaplains could result in court-martialing on a case-by-case basis.”
Now THAT STATEMENT ITSELF is horrible, borders on tyranny, and pushes for oppression!! To “court-martial Christians and “Chaplains” – of all people – because of their faith is like holding a “counsellor” or someone who wants to be “counselled” guilty for doing the service they were hired to do, or for requesting that service! Christians and Chaplains do what others of faith aim to do: to share Hope, Life, and Solace with a hurting and dying world!”
The statement by “name withheld” is an “over-the-top” rant and is NOTHING a true Christian would ever write, but sounds in tone and style more like Weinstein himself! If my hunch is true, that makes Weinstein like Nero who blamed the burning of Rome on Christians, and had them killed by the thousands in the arenas, when he himself had set the fire, “fiddling while Rome burned”!
I would not put it past Weinstein to be behind such rants…starting the fire himself so he can then use his own impersonating rants as an example of why the Military should single out and persecute Christians!
I will be praying for him, for truly he is by his own choice choosing a godless life, and as far as I am concerned, a godless eternity. That is his choice, but it is not what God or any honest Christian would want for him. No one should be forced to believe; but ALL should be given the choice!
“For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes (trusts in, clings to) Him will not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17
That is for Miky Weinstein as it is for EVERYONE and ANYONE who chooses to place their hope and trust in our Savior, Jesus Christ. May Miky find Him and true peace for his life, for truly the hate and hurt that he intends for Christians evidences an absolute lack of godly peace. I fear for him, but I would never deny him the opportunity to turn from his hatred to the rue Love that God extends – even and especially – to him.
May God grant our military leaders the wisdom, courage, and fortitude to fight on behalf of those who believe, for truly a pillar of our great nation is our Faith in God and the freedom to worship. Knock that pillar out from under US and our military, and like Rome, we too will fall. This is a battle that MUST be fought and won, only this one is on our own soil!
GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY! And may GOD continue to bless America!
I think with a name like Mike Wienstein — he should take a vacation. Probably Iran, or Afghanistan would be appropriate — then he might find out what a real terrorists is, and I highly doubt it would be a Christian that takes offense to his AMERICAN Identity, and his Jewish sounding name. but it is in America, we can’t define that 911 terrorists, that the Boston bomber terrrorist — were in fact NOT CHRISTIANS as they all claimed to be Islamic, and get this they all claimed to be making Jihad!!!! — which president obama, can’t understand or define, himself!!! have a great day, as we watch Mr. Weinsteins religion (Americanism) die with the immorality that it has CHOSEN!!!! adios amigos
The basic problem with all the goals, discussions and actions going on today regarding “freedom of religion” and the “separation of CHURCH and STATE” is a deliberate fundamental intent to purposely misinterpret exactly what the founders meant originally by “freedom of religion” and “separation of CHURCH and STATE” .
The original intent by the founders of our country was to make sure there would be “freedom of religion” and not allow a “specific state sponsored religious denomination”. I suggest the meaning of “separation of CHURCH and STATE” in accordance with what the founders meant and intended would be understood more clearly if it said there would not be a “specific state sponsored religious denomination”.
What I have read on your website and your actions leads me to feel there is a fundamental intent to discourage a religious life or at the very least the result of what you are doing will discourage a religious life.
I firmly believe that what is needed now more than ever is a resurgence of religious interest.
Answers in Genesis has also put out some “news”.
