Dear Mr Weinstein:
Your recent attack on one of our country’s aspiring Air Force officers is out of line and sorely misguided. The First Amendment said “Congress shall make no law….” – not that “citizens should not be allowed to peacefully express their beliefs.” No sir – your zealous attempt to silence those who would faithfully and dutifully uphold our Constitution because of their personal and spiritual convictions just goes to show where your allegiance lies. You, sir, are a self-loathing, self-righteous un-Constitutionalist who wouldn’t know the Bill of Rights from The Communist Manifesto. Why don’t you take your left-wing, censoring, cowardly hind end to some island where Piers Morgan and Rachel Maddow and Keith Olberman and the like will surely provide you good company.
God have mercy on you and may God bless you in spite of your ignorance and useless driveling.

Sincerely,
(name withheld)

P.S. I’m sure this email brings you great pleasure, since this is another patriotic American you have thoroughly pissed off.

Dear (name withheld),

In “Lemon Vs. Kurzman,” 1971, the Supreme Court held that government, including Public Education and the Armed Forces, may not advance, promote, recommend or proselytize one religion over another or religion over non religion.

The cadets who posted exclusive Christian scripture in public notice areas were in direct violation of that ruling and AF 1-1.

Of course, I’m sure the scriptures were not intended to offend anyone but constitutional provision was violated and as up and coming USAF Officers they should be aware of that.

At MRFF we are pretty well versed in constitutional matters and you would be surprised to learn that like yourself, many who attempt to use the Constitution as a back up source have absolutely no idea as to what it’s really all about.

Religion, in this case, Christianity, has no power to legislate, enforce religious law or control any form of military duty.

As I am sure that you will need a heck of a lot more of God’s mercy than we will I will wish you well and hope that you actually read the constitution and the hundreds of case-law references that pertain to it now available on line.
