The sooner we can be rid of Preachy Pete, who, according to numerous accounts, cannot — or will not — follow the practices of his religion, the better! From what I’ve seen thus far, he does not practice what Jesus preached. And as a long-time PhD student in Sociology with an abiding interest in sociology of religion, I’ve come to the conclusion that religion is first and foremost about regulating behaviors and relationships among a community of practitioners.
Mister Sneeze should NOT be trying to impose his religion upon members of the US Armed Forces! ESPECIALLY when he appears unable — or unwilling — to abide by the principles of the religion he claims to follow!
