Because I was not familiar with MRFF. After I read your response went back and looked up what all this was and about.
I was curious who you were so I read through your bio. You Dad went to the Naval Academy and the more I read , the more I understand why it came to MRFF. I apologize that those who called themselves Christians would do you like they did. I understand now why and I am deeply sorry . Because being Jewish is an honor .
That is how I learned about G-d and the love that He has and no one has the right to force their religious beliefs on anyone. I will be very honest with you, your faith which I know many Jewish are ashamed because of what others have said about the Jewish killing Jesus. For someone to say that It was your heritage that taught me what I know and no one has the right to mock or intimidate .
I was never taught that. Yes I know the Lord I also know I if it were not for the Jewish people, I would not have ever known the love of God and how much reading the Tanakh, you are a special people to God and the Apple of His eye no matter what anyone says I mean that. I read your bio and you sir are a high ranking person. I could not believe the honors that were bestowed upon you and Many Christians tend to be very rude because they try and politically correct in their own strength what belongs to God. I see the bitterness from all this and I understand the anger. It is not shameful to be Jewish. It is an honor because you are favored in the eyes of God, no matter what anyone says.
You are precious to God. Always and don’t throw away your Jewishness . that is a very very precious very precious to God .
i am serious.
You relationship is between you and God and no man, or woman can tell you that you are no good because of what anyone says.

Hi (name withheld) –
I hope you don’t mind getting another email. Mikey has shared with me the nice exchange that you and he had over the weekend. I was greatly impressed by the kindness of your note and feel moved to introduce myself. I’m a Christian and AF veteran who supports MRFF in a variety of ways.
In the time that I’ve been involved with MRFF, I’ve too often been saddened by what is sent to the organization, and to Mikey in particular, from people who identify themselves as Christians. The level of nastiness, ill will, and downright hate is stunning to me — too many cases of supposed Christians wishing evil on Mikey and his family, and sometimes making actual threats. I wholeheartedly agree with you that “no one has the right to mock or intimidate” — sadly, not all of our Christian brethren feel that way. The more that folks like me and you can work to inspire our brothers and sisters to act with kindness and compassion, the better things will be for everyone.
The work of MRFF is so important for all of our airman, sailors, soldiers and marines. Having spent almost 10 years in a military setting myself (first at the USAF Academy, then in the Air Force) I deeply appreciate how difficult it is to serve. And when the rights of an individual to follow his own heart and conscience on religious matters is interfered with by those who outrank him, the difficulty is greatly compounded.
People who know better, such as Pat Robertson who recently attacked Mikey, will often claim that MRFF is an atheist organization that wants to remove Christianity from our military. This is patently untrue — and as I said, the folks who make that claim in the media – Mr. Robertson, multiple people on Fox News, and others – know that it’s not true. But they make the spurious claim anyway, because they know it will rile up their Christian base. Unfortunately, lying for Christ is not a noble thing.
We are pro-Freedom… pro-Constitution… and absolutely committed to supporting the individual military members who sometimes cannot defend themselves from inappropriate actions by their superiors.
When I was an Air Force Officer, I actively lived my Christian faith every day. I lived it in the way in which I tried to be a servant leader, in the respect that I showed to others, and in my daily efforts to model Christian virtues in the best way that I could. But I never treated my non-Christian subordinates differently, nor did I pressure them to accept Christ. For one thing, I believe that inspiration comes from a much higher power, not from me. But even more importantly, every military member has a right to live and work in an environment that is free of unwanted proselytizing.
Again, I want to thank you very much for your kind notes to Mikey. Would that all Christians could correspond with the same amount of grace that you’ve shown; it would be a wonderful thing.
If you have any questions or comments for me, now or in the future, I’d be happy to continue a dialogue with you.
Peace,
Mike Challman
Christian, Veteran, MRFF Supporter
