Mikey Weinstein – Freedom as you seem to view it only works according to your organization’s definition — GOD (who you seem to to be afraid of) is the problem according to you — I would hope that somehow you might someday realize that you are playing into the hands of every enemy of our great country where freedom is supposed to apply to ALL !  God bless you !

Hi (name withheld),

Freedom does apply to all in our country. That’s why we work to see that this continues to be the case.

We have no fear of God. Most of those associated with the MRFF are Christians, some are Christian clergy. Others are believers in other faiths and some are believers in no faith. The intention of the founders of this country was that no particular belief was to be foist by the government on the people, the result of which was the doctrine of the separation of church and state. The MRFF concerns itself with protecting the freedom of thought and freedom of choice of the women and men in the military, so that it’s clear all are welcome and all are free to believe as they choose. And that includes no belief, if they so choose.

That seems to be a hard concept for some to understand. I’m sorry that’s the case, but when, as you say above, “freedom is supposed to apply to ALL,” that’s exactly what the founders intended and what the MRFF works to protect. It is the protection of those freedoms that ensures that, contrary to your assertion, this country will not “fall into the hands of every enemy,” even an enemy like those totalitarians who believe their religion is the only correct one and everyone must accept it or perish in the flames of hell.
