How does it feel to be the laughing stock of the whole country? LOL

(name withheld)

Actually, what truly feels good is that we are winning the war against fundamentalist Christian monsters, Apparently like you, who are trying to take control of our US military and change our country from its wonderful democracy into a religious extremist theocracy. I hope this helps you, you ignorant asshole?

ROFL.  The whole country is laughing at you, Mikey.  You’ve become the
universal butt of jokes – and a real embarrassment to your parents.
Keep up the great work!  :)  LOL

I’m sure you intended to send this Gordon Klingenschmitt or perhaps Governor Mike Pence.  I’ll be sure to forward your message and get back to you as soon as they let me know.

Hi (name withheld) –

I’m curious, are you just LOL? Or are you also ROTFL?  Maybe LMAO, too? Or perhaps even ROTFLMAO?  I just hope you’re not PMSL, because OMG that would be nasty.
I’m also curious how it is you think the “whole country” is laughing? Because we hear from lots and lots of people who share the same Constitutional values that we espouse at the MRFF. In any case, it matters not whether any particular group of malcontents is laughing, because the work that we do remains important, honorable, and necessary.
So we’ll keep on doing the important work, and you keep on LOL – you know what they say, laughter is the best medicine.

Dear (name withheld),

The Wright brothers were the universal butt of jokes for their absurd ideas about flying machines.  Rosa Parks was ridiculed and mocked for her ideas about where she could sit on a bus.  For ages (the dark ages, the time when Christianity ruled the western world) those who fought to share the good news that earth was round were mocked, laughed at, punished.  When Jesus walked the earth he was the biggest laughing stock of them all.

You know how those stories ended, so tell me, why on earth would your mockery be anything but encouragement to even a casual student of history?

You laugh because we fight for something you can’t understand.  We smile because our victory is guaranteed.  Theocracy, while sometimes popular, never succeeds the test of time.

I completely see your point, Mikey.  You’re not really delusional,
like everybody says.  You have every right to be upset and nasty when
someone kindly wishes you a blessed day.  Yes, you are very important
– just like the Wright brothers. You should feel very proud of
yourself.  LOL

You’ll have to tell me, (name withheld). The term doesn’t apply here.

    Dear Blake Page,

I do not see anywhere in the bible that Jesus was a laughing stock, unless your bible reads different than mine. Let me ask you, if Jesus was a laughing stock, why then did hundreds of people on Palm Sunday where shouting “hosanna” that does not indicate in anyway that he was a laughing stock.

Now the bible does say that Jesus was a “man of sorrows and aquainted with grief and that He took the sins of the world upon him and by His stripes (whippings) we were healed. The only ones who laughed at him were the those at the cross saying “if you are the Son of God come down from the cross” but it was love that kept him on the cross, but from your comments I can tell you would one of those at the cross mocking Him, but it was for your sins that He died as well. Something to think about Blake!
