So let me get this straight. Maj. Gen. Craig Olson. Spoke in his uniform and on television about how his personal Christian faith helped him throughout his life. And you anti-Christian assholes want him court-martialed and put in prison. If I were a betting man I would bet everything I own which isn’t much that you hypocrites wouldn’t say a damn thing if the general spoke about Islam or Judaism. You scum sucking pigs are all the same. Anytime Christians says anything in public you crucify them. But you don’t say shit when it comes to anyone else. Just to make you aware most people in this country are Christian. We have something in this country called freedom of speech. That is not denied to the people in the military or in schools. You communists are the minority. And in the wrong country. I think you would all be happier in a place like North Korea. You really need to change your name from freedom from religion to hypocrites against Christianity. I’m sure you assholes consider yourself atheists. But you’re not. True atheists don’t believe in God therefore they don’t give a damn when someone invokes Jesus. If you truly want to help make this once great nation a better country. Go up to the roof and jump off. Or take a walk in traffic. This world would be a better place without you.

Hi (name withheld),

Bad bet. You’d lose. We’d have the same position about his inappropriate actions if Major General Olson was professing the value of his Jewish faith, his Catholic faith, his Buddhist beliefs or his atheism. U.S. law and Air Force regulations specifically rule out this behavior.

Your name-calling and other silliness gives evidence of a very thin religious skin and suggests complete ignorance about the work of the MRFF. More’s the pity.

Your reference to “communists,” your suggestion we’re in “the wrong country,” your hyper-sensitivity about what you perceive, wrongly, as bias against Christianity, your assumption that we are atheists and your description of this “once great nation” give evidence of a very troubled person with a very sad mindset.

I’m sorry for that. And I wish you enlightenment.

Hi (name withheld),

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your thoughts.

Woke we agree that being in the military does not trump an American’s freedom of speech what you are unaware of are the time, place, and manner restrictions which do come with military rank.

About MRFF, we’re not an atheist organization, we’re a secular organization.  I know the distinction is lost on most conservatives, but I’ll try my best to explain.  We advocate for a secular government.  That is, a government that doesn’t make religious claims.  An atheist government on the other hand would be one which made laws expressly claiming that there is no god or gods.  We would fight just as ferociously an attempt to create an atheist government as a Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindi, Buddhist, Satanic, Mormon, or any other theocratic government.

I don’t know what news feed you’ve been watching, but MRFF has never participated in an act of crucifixion, attempted or successful.  We’re a non violent organization that uses reason, law, and media to defend or clients.  In the case of General Olsen, we are fighting against the use of rank to make official statements that one religion is superior or the most highly regarded among all others.  Had he not been in uniform and not used his rank and government authority, there would be no problem.

Take care,
