MRFF’s INBOX – Letter from ex-USAF contractor accused of being a witch

Dear Mikey,

I just wanted to thank MRFF for the help you are giving me.  This whole ordeal has made me physically ill, causing my ulcers to flare.

This was my first government contracting job on a military base, and now I am truly not sure if I want to work in a position like this again.  I thought I could just do my job the best I could, and maybe qualify for a GS position in the future.  I worked as hard as I could, but it seems it was not enough.

My wish is that these people learn from their mistakes and realize that even though a person is of another religion, that person’s beliefs are deserving of respect.   Religion is truly a personal choice.   I never tried to convert anyone to my religion.   I believe that everyone comes to the spiritual path that is right for them on their own, without proselytizing.   My interest in Wicca had no bearing on my job performance, which should have been the only thing that mattered to the office.

I’ve never in my life had a problem in any other dental office I worked in.  No one cared about my religion,.  Let us hope that some good will come out of all this, and that others will also be judged not on their religious values, but on the quality of their work.

Also for those that need help like I did, MRFF is there for you.  They will work hard for you around the clock.  If you are scared, they can help you confidentially and are free of cost. Thank you Mikey.

Sincerely,

Deborah Schoenfeld

If she would come to Jesus, He can heal her of her ulcers as well as anything else and she would have the joy of eternal life that awaits her!

  2. Angela Schweig

Dominionists always believe that to be good or “saved” you have to be one of them. I don’t join in or approve of their nauseating flavor of Christianity. They also confabulate Wicca and other non-monotheistic spiritual practices with Satanism. That simply advertises their profound, willful ignorance. I’m a Christian, but I’ll never, ever drink the Evangelical Dominionist Christian Kool-aid.
    Blessed Be.

  3. Yeshua Warrior

    Angela,

Let me ask then, what assurance of salvation do you have then? If you were to die tonight and stand before God, and He were to ask you why should I let you into my heaven, how would you respond. Did not Jesus say, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, NO man comes to the Father buy through me?” That excludes, Jews, Muslims, Wiccans, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, some Catholics, etc etc. If you are no longer an evangelical then what are you? Do you believe that the bible is the inerrant and infallible Word of God? Do you believe that homosexuality in all forms is a sin? If you say you are a Christian, then you can either prove or disprove your points using scripture right?

  4. Eric Cooper

actually Christ will be ashamed you even called on him and twisted his book into the little lies you spout out. There are many beliefs out there all of which lead to the same. Oh and for the word warrior to even be in your name is a disgrace, just another dominionist dumbass that can take your preaching and shove it right up your ass

  5. Oak

Yeshua, try to understand that those of us who follow different religious paths don’t share your beliefs about the afterlife, about the creator, about any of the dogma of your religion. Your questions have as much meaning to us as my questioning you about what lesson you think you might have to learn in your next life might have to you. Your refusal to accept that others have different beliefs, and a right to those beliefs is demeaning to us and inconsistent with teachings of the New Testament, Luke 9:52-56.

” she would come to Jesus, He can heal her of her ulcers as well as anything else and she would have the joy of eternal life that awaits her!”

If the Lord could heal people of their illnesses and give them preventative medicine for free, then we would not have to deal with HMOs, the HMOs would be out of business, and 45,000 Americans would not be dying every year from lack of affordable healthcare.

Yeshua Warrior, do you have first-hand knowledge of people standing before God when they die? People you know who have died, have they come back to you and report to you that they are in heaven and have met God? Can you prove your points or disprove your points using scripture?

  7. Paula

I would like you to understand that I will never change my beliefs to accommodate you. I would also hope that you might begin to comprehend that there are many, many different faith paths, and any one is not better than any other. I do not ask that you change your beliefs to please me–in fact, I don’t imagine you are capable of pursuing a more sophisticated belief system at this time in your life, if ever. Please keep your strident screed to yourself.

  8. Yeshua Warrior

    Dear G,

God is totally sovereign in who He heals and who He does not, all apart of His plan for the the individual person and no God is not in the pill dispensing business.

No, I do not have first hand knowledge of people standing before God when they die, but I have His words concerning it, Revelation 20:11-15English Standard Version (ESV)

Judgment Before the Great White Throne
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. There are are couple movies which have come out recently of Christians who have died, gone to heaven and have come back. The Apostle Paul was taken up into heaven and was returned. (2 Cor. 12:2-4)

  9. Yeshua Warrior

    Dear Oak,

What does Luke 9:52-56 have to do with anything we are discussing. Once again non-believers take verses out of context to prove their point.

  10. Hypatia

Yeshua Warrior, you would be much more comfortable in a country that does not have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights, and a separation between Church and State. Where everybody has — has to have — a government enforced religion; no others tolerated.

First suggestion that springs to mind: Saudi Arabia. True, you might have to make a tiny switch in your belief system, but I sense that in your ardor, once you made the change, you would be perfectly happy that your new religion covers EVERYTHING from birth to death and even afterwards. 72 virgins! Can you dig it, dude?!

  11. Yeshua Warrior

    Dear Paula,

I understand that there are many faith paths, but those are men trying to reach God on their own efforts and good works, while Christianity is God reaching out to mankind through His Son Jesus Christ. The problem is not with me you have, you and thousands others on this planet have a problem with the words that Jesus spoke. Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:2) The Apostle Paul wrote “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12). King Solomon in the Old Testament wrote “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” (Proverbs 16:25)

You said I am not capable of pursuing a more sophisticated belief system, why should I when the Son of God gave the most sophisticated belief system, all others are found wanting next to Him. All religion is, is man’s attempt to reach God, which in the sage words of the Borg, it is futile. Christianity is not as much a religion as it is a relationship with the God of the universe and His Son Jesus! Also, I will not keep my strident screed to myself, Jesus said to share the “good news” with every nation, tribe and tongue.

  12. Yeshua Warrior

    Dear Hypathia,

Well I like the constitution and the bill of rights just fine for it guarantees my freedom of religion and expression of it.

No, I would not like Saudi Arabia where they cut off your hands and feet and hang you and where the men have sex with little boys and girls as well as with sheep. I don’t care about 72 virgins because there is none, besides, Jesus said in heaven we are neither married nor given in marriage which means there is NO sex in heaven, and why would we need it anyway, when heaven will be one rocking Godly party, praising and worship Jesus with the angels for all eternity.

  13. Yeshua Warrior

Oh by the way Hypathia, if I were to live in any other country it would be in Israel with my Jewish friends, and you know what, they have freedom of religion and no separation of church and state there without the need for a bill of rights, and you have the freedom to share your faith there with just about anyone. I bet they even have a 10 Commandments statue on the grounds of the government building there.

  14. Kuma

I’m an American – I’m not required to believe in anyone’s religion. So questions that assume I do (such as have you been saved? Or accepted xyz?) are as nonsensically irrelevant to me, as asking me where I stable my griffon.

Any argument that demand I agree or acknowledge any part of a religion, is automatically dismissed.

  15. Angela Schweig

Oh my dear, dear Yeshua!! First you’re asking very personal questions whose answers are honestly none of your business. Second, you’ve asked for “proof texts” as if Martin Luther’s insistence on sola scriptura was correct, and King James’s commissioned translation was inerrant IN ENGLISH, while there is ample evidence that it is deeply flawed. As for sola scriptura, it is a concept made up by Martin Luther with no Biblical evidence. I won’t lower myself to address your questions about my faith, redemption or salvation because you’re just too damned nosey, self-righteous, and judgmental. And BTW, I have a university degree in Religions and Biblical Studies, among others. Don’t assume that I’m stupid or ignorant.

  16. MJ

What a way to build a church. Find people who are sent to be lunch for lions and tell them they will have a life after death…which benefit, heretofore, only the roman emperor could bestow on the favored few.
Who wouldn’t want to live forever? Especially younger people, who haven’t lived long enough to know that death is a friend and older people often welcome it.
This alone will ensure new converts…..and once converted, they pass on the word to neighbors and children….and with from this group of adherents the power brokers rise with their mythology….
The Bible is full of wisdom for life, but it has its rotten vile parts too.
And it was written by men and the parts modern christians seem to love most are the parts where God wipes out the folks like those some modern people would like to see wiped out.
From such has much literature been created in the last thousand years or so.
The lilies bloom in my field and i worry not about what i will wear, and that is freeing, as is the lack of religious nuts in my universe…gotta be something in the Book about that last one….

  17. Yeshua Warrior

    Angela,

First of all, please do not put words in my mouth that I never said, I never assumed that you were stupid or ignorant.

So enlighten me how the KJV is flawed?

Regarding sola scriptura, yes there is no biblical evidence for it, but the bible is the Word of God, and the bible itself declares it is God-breathed, inerrant and authoritative. Here is an interesting paragraph I found regarding sola scriptura – “The primary Catholic argument against sola scriptura is that the Bible does not explicitly teach sola scriptura. Catholics argue that the Bible nowhere states that it is the only authoritative guide for faith and practice. While this is true, they fail to recognize a crucially important issue. We know that the Bible is the Word of God. The Bible declares itself to be God-breathed, inerrant, and authoritative. We also know that God does not change His mind or contradict Himself. So, while the Bible itself may not explicitly argue for sola scriptura, it most definitely does not allow for traditions that contradict its message. Sola scriptura is not as much of an argument against tradition as it is an argument against unbiblical, extra-biblical and/or anti-biblical doctrines. The only way to know for sure what God expects of us is to stay true to what we know He has revealed—the Bible. We can know, beyond the shadow of any doubt, that Scripture is true, authoritative, and reliable. The same cannot be said of tradition.

I applaud you on your educational background, I myself have an undergraduate degree from one of the most prestigious Christian universities in the country where I majored in Christian Education and minored in bible and theology, and I also hold a graduate degree in biblical studies from a very reputable seminary. I have over 30 years of ministry experience ranging from pastor, hospital chaplain, crisis chaplain, pro sports chaplain, and now the founder of my own teaching and speaking ministry regarding Israel.

  18. Connie

Well, that explains so much. YW can’t acknowledge us humans who exist outside his church – definitely is a he with all that preaching and teaching. No way would a Dominionist allow a female into their boys only club.

Also explains why he won’t answer any question put to him about separation of church and state. He doesn’t believe in it. He wants a theocracy. That is who he is. To believe he has a shred of logic in his brain is… well, it’s a false belief.

Careful YW – your attachment to your end times is showing.

And for the record – Odin said he would get rid of the Ice Giants as told in the Poetic Edda – the Norse version of stories that are near and dear to the Vikings. I don’t see any Ice Giants.

Your Jesus said he would return, what, 2000 years ago? And you are STILL waiting? And you call my faith a myth? LOLOLOLOLOL You are so funny YW. Well, not so funny because you want to impose your version of Sharia law here in the secular United States but yep, that made coffee come out of my nose. Thanks for the giggle. 🙂

  19. Yeshua Warrior

    Connie,

I do not know where you get the idea that women are not allowed into a so called all boy’s club. There are many women preachers and teachers out there. The pastor of my church and his wife are co-pastors! There are women who serve on church pastoral staff all across this country. Why don’t you ask your Catholic friends why there as never been a woman Pope? Even in Reformed Judaism there are women who serve as rabbi’s of their synagogue. Even Jesus affirmed the worth of women, for who were the first to find out that He had risen from the grave but women! So this fallacy that evangelical Christians hate women is preposterous and ludicrous! Now God does have an order that He feels best that works in the family, the husband is to submit to God, the wife submits to her husband, and the children submit to the parents.

Now regarding Jesus’ return, did He ever give an exact date as to when He would return? No, however, He did say that there would be signs of His return getting close. God’t timing is never man’s timing. In Matthew 24 Jesus said these are some of the signs of His imminent return: you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, nation will rise against nation and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places, He said that those who proclaim the name of Christ will be delivered up to tribulation and put us to death and we (Christians and Messianic Jews) will be hated by all the nations for His name’s sake, there will be false prophets and lead many astray, lawlessness will increase and the love of many will grow cold, and this gospel will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come. So, has lawlessness increased in the last 2000 years, you betcha, more and more Christians are being persecuted for their faith in many countries, has the gospel gone to all the nations yet, most likely not. Another thing that must happen as well before Christ returns is that His people (Jews) must return to their homeland. The establishment of Israel as a nation in 1948 was a fulfillment of biblical prophecy in the Old Testament, and thousands of Jews are returning to their ancient homeland from the four corners of the earth, God is drawing His chosen people back home, but before Christ returns, biblical prophecy says His people must recognize that He is their long awaited Messiah who has already come once. Finally, scripture says that Christ will not return until the last Gentile He knows that will accept him does and His people (Jews) cry out, “blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.”

As far as being a so called Dominionist, the favorite word of MRFF, I am not for a theocracy for that will happen after Jesus does return. Scripture says that after He returns he will sit on the throne of his father King David in Jerusalem, and from there He will rule all nations (theocracy) and all must obey Him! Imagine that, a Jew will rule the world, boy that will piss off the KKK, Muslims and all anti-Semities and anti-Zionists! Not only that, but every Christian and Messianic Jew that has ever lived, will also rule the nations alongside our King and Savior Jesus! How cool is that! There is only one King, that is Jesus and I will only bow my knee to Him, not to any country, earthly king, magistrate or government!

“God is totally sovereign in who He heals and who He does not, all apart of His plan for the the individual person and no God is not in the pill dispensing business.”

You want to tell that to the parents who lost their baby being stillborn, or die within secods, minutes, hours, days, and months after being born or dying from miscarriage or late foetal loss?

You were the one that stated that if the lady had accepted God, he would cure her ulcers and any other ailments. So why God has not done it instead of making the lady suffer

I don’t see God healing the soldiers from PTSD. As I stated in a prior thread where are your data reports that prayer has cured soldiers more than any other kind of therapy?

God must be a killer angel or just a bad doctor if he is not curing people right away

(2 Cor. 12:2-4).

Why is there not more detail report from Paul about what God told him and what he saw in heaven? How long was Paul in heaven before God sent him back to Earth? Can Paul state how long he was in heaven? A minute, several minutes, an hour, several hours, a day, a week, several weeks, a month, several months, a year, several years? Just because one person went to heaven and came back doesn’t mean nothing if there are no one else that can verified his story by going to heaven and coming back?

  21. Angela Schweig

    Yeshua Warrior,
You’ve given me so many laughs reading this thread!!! Your anti-Catholic hatred and ignorance of history are showing. Before Luther, Henry VIII, the Puritans, Calvin, etc. Christendom was only Catholic. AND the Bible is a compilation of Bronze Age oral history handed down by MEN. There is no reliable history or paleoanthropolgic evidence that the characters in that book really existed, including an itinerant teacher called Jesus of Nazareth. Believing in Odin and Thor or Vishnu, Krishna, or Hanuman is no more or less delusional than believing in the myths called “the Bible.” While you’re choking on this post, I’m through with this thread and I won’t be reading your response. I support Deborah Schoenfeld and the MRFF.

  22. Yeshua Warrior

    Dear Angela,

I am not choking at all for it is you who does not know history, Christendom was first Messianic Judaism, the first believers in Christ for the first century were Jews not Gentiles. Also there is plenty of historical evidence for the Son of God Jesus of Nazereth. The Jewish historian named Flavious Josephus in his writings speak of Jesus of Nazareth.

May Deborah Schoenfeld rise up to the Microsoft Cloud never to be heard of again!

  23. Yeshua Warrior

    Angela,

I thought you said that you have an undergraduate degree in religion and biblical studies, yet you do not believe that Jesus was a myth. How can you be in biblical studies if you believe that the bible is a myth. What college did you go to, a liberal humanistic university or a pagan Catholic university called Mount St Mary’s?

  24. Yeshua Warrior

    G,

I am sure it can be very painful for a couple to deal with a still born child, and I know first hand the pain of not one but two miscarriages by this potential father. Do I blame God for those miscarriages, no, we live in a fallen and sinful world and our bodies are subject to disease and are frail. I know of how Christian and non-Christians who have responded to the same painful things, the Christians parents drew strength from their faith in Christ and from others in their church and with the assurance that their still born or miscarried child is now in heaven and they will see them someday when they reach heaven. I myself look forward to meeting my two children that miscarried some day in heaven.

You said that you do not see God healing soldiers of PTSD, I know of one personally who suffered severely from PTSD from his tour of Vietnam, but God healed him, was it instataneous, no, but over time he was healed and now he ministers to fellows soldiers who suffer from PTSD.

God can heal immediately or over time or not at all, but that is all determined by what God’s individual plan is for the persons life. God sometimes chooses not to reveal why He may not heal someone. A case in point, a woman by the name of Joni Earackson Tada dove in into Chesapeake Bay when 18 and not realizing the depth of the water, she suffered a fracture in her spine that left her a quadriplegic. She is an evangelical Christian and is now in her mid 60″s and she has done everything possible, going to miracle healers, probably thousands all praying for her healing, but God has chose to keep her in that wheelchair, but you know what, she has had quite a ministry to disabled individuals like herself which would have never come about if she had been healed, She is an author, artist, speaker, singer and a wife. Here is just a bit of her testimony – During her two years of rehabilitation, according to her autobiography, she experienced anger, depression, suicidal thoughts, and religious doubts. However, Tada learned to paint with a brush between her teeth, and began selling her artwork. To date, she has written over forty books, recorded several musical albums, starred in an autobiographical movie of her life, and is an advocate for disabled people.[4] She has also been awarded 6 honorary doctoral degrees for her life’s work. God may still not heal her before her life ends, but when that does and she opens her eyes in heaven, she will be healed and walking!

As a former hospital and crisis chaplain we are often asked why has God allowed this, and the only and best answer we can give is I am not sure why, but He knows. I am sure Job that is mentioned in the Old Testament wondered why God allowed Satan to take his wife, his kids and his livelihood (sheep, etc), but one of the greatest comments Job every made was “even if He slays me, yet I will trust in Him.” After Job had been tested, God blessed him doubly of what he had before, he had more children, and double the livestock than what he had before.

There are many times I have wondered why God has allowed things to happen in my life, but like Job, I say, even if He slays me I will trust in Him. I know that a lot of adversity has shaped and strengthened my faith in God, and I know that He still has a wonderful plan for my life.

  25. RC

Yeshua, you are so ridiculous, it’s comical.

No matter how much you try to deny it, you ARE a dominionist fascist who would just love to see our society PLAGUED by an oppressive theocracy that forces religious bull into our lives, and forces us to live by religious law, thereby robbing us of our freedoms.

    Your PATHETIC!

  26. Yeshua Warrior

    RC,

First of all thank you for your kind words! Secondly, I am not for a theocracy, that will come later when Jesus returns and sets up His rule and reign on earth. I just want to see biblical morality kept in our society. God knew that societies would function the best with His code of ethics.

  27. G

“I am sure it can be very painful for a couple to deal with a still born child, and I know first hand the pain of not one but two miscarriages by this potential father. Do I blame God for those miscarriages, no, we live in a fallen and sinful world and our bodies are subject to disease and are frail. ”

Explain how a sinful, fallen world were the cause of those two miscarriages?

“Joni Earackson Tada dove in into Chesapeake Bay when 18 and not realizing the depth of the water, she suffered a fracture in her spine that left her a quadriplegic. God may still not heal her before her life ends, but when that does and she opens her eyes in heaven, she will be healed and walking!”

Why should people like Ms. Tada have to die and go to heaven (if there is one) in order to be healed and walk again?

“I know of one personally who suffered severely from PTSD from his tour of Vietnam, but God healed him, was it instataneous, no, but over time he was healed and now he ministers to fellows soldiers who suffer from PTSD.”

You only know one person who was heal by God of his PTSD. That is no evidence at all compare to the thousands of soldiers who are suffering from PTSD and you have offered no data report that shows that prayer has cure more PTSD soldiers than all the other forms of therapy. Many soldiers have also pray before battle; however, that did not prevent them from getting PTSD.

  28. Yeshua Warrior

    G,

How does our fallen world affect the two miscarriages? Well, we live in a fallen and sinful world, our bodies are not perfect so they are subject to the effects of sin and disease. The same reason can be said for why do we get the common cold, cancer, our bodies get older and degenerate, it all goes back to the original sin of our first parents Adam and Eve, when they disobeyed God and ate of the tree of good and evil.

Regarding Mrs. Tada, apart from God healing her while she is alive, in eternity she will have a perfect body without the ravages of humanity upon it.

Regarding PTSD, I just cited one example and I cannot tell you how many soldiers my friend has ministered to that have over come PTSD. I know there are thousands of soldiers who suffer, but humanistic psychology can only do so much, but counseling with the power of God I believe can do so much more if given the chance.

  29. G

Sin does not causes the common cold, miscarriages, cancer, lead poison, food poisoning, malaria, etc. Your explanation has no logic at all.

Ms. Tada should have a healthy body if God suppose to heal people. Jesus heal people in the Bible; however, the healing was done immediately, not weeks, days, months or years.

Regarding PTSD, you need to do a research project to prove your theory that prayer has heal more soldiers than all the other therapies. As I stated earlier, many soldiers pray before battle, so why are they suffering from PTSD in the first place if prayer is suppose to protect them.?

  30. Yeshua Warrior

    G,

Ms. Tada should have a healthy body if God is supposed to heal. God does heal but it may not be His will for that particular person. God has a plan for everyone’s life, and we do not know what that plan is until it unfolds a little bit at a time.

Regarding PTSD here is one of the ministries that help combat vets who deal with PTSD – http://crumilitary.org/ptsd-healing/

  31. G

“Ms. Tada should have a healthy body if God is supposed to heal. God does heal but it may not be His will for that particular person.”

“Sounds like God is like a HMO death panel in determining who will get medical care and who will not.” Like I said, he must be a killer angel.

“God has a plan for everyone’s life, and we do not know what that plan is until it unfolds a little bit at a time.”

By that time, you are probably dead and still don’t know what his plan is. That is not much help to all the miscarriage babies, the stillborn babies, and all the babies that died within seconds, minutes, days, weeks, months, and years after they are born and those poor babies did not know what was God’s plan for them or if God even had a plan for them at all.

You have still not offered any statistical evidence that prayer has cure more soldiers of PTSD than all the other therapies.

  32. Yeshua Warrior

    G,

There are no statistics kept that prayer has cured more soldiers of PTSD except for the soldiers own testimonies of being healed by God.

God is not a killer angel, since He is the author of life. Well I do know that all those still born babies, aborted babies, and mis-carriages are in heaven today worshiping and praising God before His throne.

We never know what God’s plan is for our life, but He has given this promise though, “I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.

  33. G

“There are no statistics kept that prayer has cured more soldiers of PTSD except for the soldiers own testimonies of being healed by God.”

Then you need to start doing a statistical report about prayer curing more soldiers.

“God is not a killer angel, since He is the author of life”

God is a killer angel since he took away life of those babies for no reason and he gave no explanation to the parents why he did it.

“We never know what God’s plan is for our life, but He has given this promise though, “I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.”

You stated that God will let us know what he is good and ready to tell you, but then you contradict yourself by giving a scripture saying that God doesn’t have to tell you anything about what is in store for you.

” prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.”

Oh really. Can I quote that scripture to God if he is going to send me to Hades since he promise not to harm me and let me prosper and let me have hope? Perhaps, I can accuse God of going back on his word and his plan for me.
