“Ultimately, the actions of Mr. Reinhart are disgraceful and support the agenda of one veteran who thinks the Bible is a threat, if that veteran actually exists.”

I would agree that he bible is not the enemy, and what about those vets who have received much comfort by reading the bible. As the saying goes, the squeeky wheel gets the grease, in this case it is the atheists and Muslims whose wants and demands come first.

    Holy Rebel,

The true villain is you by refusing to understand the those in the military represent everyone, not just themselves. If the bible is allowed on the table then so must representations of all faiths practiced by any soldier missing or serving. I’m certain the table isn’t big enough for all that so none are represented.

It is criminal for you to believe that your faith and yours alone deserves special priveledge.

As they should because the bible has come first for way too long. We are not a christian nation never was never will be. We are a nation of many religions as our founding fathers wanted.

Rose, the country may not be a Christian nation, but it was strongly influenced and founded upon Judeo-Christian principals and morals. We are still a nation that is under God!

Not sure this will post. Trying one last time before escalating the issue.

Holy Rebel, to you the nation is under your idea of God, but what about the rest of us that do not share your worldview? I don’t follow or even like your deity. So, how is mandatory inclusion of your faith show respect or equality to me?

Do you have any evidence that Muslims and atheists’ needs come first, Holy Rebel?

The radical so called Christians have been infiltrating the military since Reagan let them in the Pentagon. All these seemingly small things like the Bible at the VA clinic need to be seen in that context. We do not need a religious military or VA. Either ban all religious materials from this government tax payer funded clinic or let the teachings from all the religions and humanists or whatever have their books there also.
