The dominionists are a threat to security at both a national and an individual level. Stories like this prompt me to again thank Mikey and the MRFF Team – your work is extra important because sadly it is dangerous.

How obscene that the real danger to liberty comes from within, rather than from outside our great nation. We can only fight the fight, and hope that in the end we are able to reveal the truth. This is an example of our “merciful” and grace filled religious zealots at work, threatening harm to those of us who would support the First Amendment, rather than co-opting it. wbfey

When was the last time, our military fought internal enemies within our country? If I recall correctly, the last time the military fought internal enemies were attacking striking workers during the late 19th and much of the 20th century.. Can’t recall when the military fought the KKK, corrupt cops, private corporate police forces, street gangs, organized crime, right-wing militia, and hard-core right wing evangelists

    G,

Are you advocating that our military be used to fight physically right wing evangelists? I can just see it now, the military hauling off Billy Graham just for preaching the Word of God! Oh that would go over really well in this country!

Well HR, since many right wing evangelists belong to right wing militia groups who have murdered law enforcement people and advocate physical violence against all government workers, the answer is yes since the military people took an oath to defend the country against all enemies, foreign and domestic. BTW, I would not be surprised many cops belong to right wing militia or support right wing militia, considering the fact that you had entire police departments who belong to the KKK and share the same right wing beliefs as the right wing evangelists.

” I can just see it now, the military hauling off Billy Graham just for preaching the Word of God! Oh that would go over really well in this country!”

No, the military would have hauled off Martin Luther King for preaching civil rights and labor rights if given the order. I could see the National Guard arresting Reverend King at the order of the state governor for civil disobedience and for communist subversive activities.

HR, considering the fact that many right wing evangelists also belong to right wing militia who have threatened to kill any government worker, my answer is yes the military should fight them, since the right wing evangelists have proven themselves to be domestic enemies of the USA.

If the southern governors of the USA had their way, they would have used their National Guard to crush the civil rights movements if they did not have the police forces at their disposal to do so.

Since many right wing evangelists belong to right wing militia who threaten to kill any government worker (including right-wingers), my answer is yes, the military should be used to fight them.
