You guys belong to the KKK ??

(name withheld)

Hi (name withheld),

No, we don’t. Do you?

As you may be aware, the KKK is a racist, radical Christian cult not unlike some of the other religious extremist groups whose efforts to infiltrate the military threaten our treasured freedom of religious belief or non-belief. These are the groups we oppose and work to expose.

I hope that answers your question.

Mike Farrell

(MRFF Board of Advisors)

Good Afternoon, (name withheld) –

Thanks for writing to the MRFF. Since you and I don’t know one another, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that your question is sincere.  I’m happy to answer it with sincerity and also to tell you a bit about who we are and what we do at the MRFF.
To begin, then, with a very direct response to your equally unvarnished query —  No, the MRFF does NOT “belong to the KKK.”

The MRFF is a Constitutional advocacy group which works on behalf of the rights of members of the US military. Our staff, supporters, and clients are a diverse group in many ways — Current military members, veterans, and those with no military experience.  Younger people and those with more worldly experience. Many different backgrounds and professions. And most often overlooked or misrepresented, individuals with numerous beliefs about religion. In fact, most are people of faith (predominantly Christians like me) and all are honorable, committed men and women.

What unites us is a dedication to ensuring that all members of the United States Armed Forces fully receive the Constitutional guarantee of religious freedom to which they and all Americans are entitled by virtue of the Eatablishment Clause of the First Amendment.
We do not have a religious (or anti-religious) agenda. We respect all individual beliefs.
We do not have a supremacist agenda. We respect the ideal of equal protection for all.
We do not have a violent agenda. We respect the rule of law and of the Constitution.
Hope this perspective helps. Thanks again for writing.
Peace,
Mike Challman
Christian, USAF veteran, MRFF supporter
