Dear MRFF,

Thank you for your very important work. I just donated to your organization again as my concerns increase about the direction things are headed.
I’m the wife of a retired military officer.
This is a rather minor thing but it gave me pause. I was shopping at the JBLM (Ft. Lewis) Commissary (in Tacoma, WA) yesterday (11-6-16). I heard a male voice over speaker system. It sounded like a recorded sound bite that was being mixed in with the background music. Unfortunately, I do not remember the exact words but twice the male voice said something like “God bless us” and “God bless our troops.” I know that most presidents say those words during times of crisis, but this was very odd. It was more like preaching at a Sunday service, at least in my opinion. I will listen more carefully next time.
Sincerely,
Name withheld only because I’m not sure if these comments are published widely. I don’t want hate mail.

OMG, just get over with, there is nothing wrong with saying God bless America or God bless us. We need God to bless America and to bless our troops. We need His hand to protect our nation.

American Patriot or as I call you, pig. Using your logic you support my right to hear Goddess Bless along with the quarters being called to protect the USA. Sweet!!

    Thanks pig.

I call American Patriot the name pig because of a shared philosophy with the pigs in George Orwell’s Animal Farm; all animals are created equal but some are more equal than others.

    Dear Connie,
You are free to call me pig, but God calls me blessed, His child, saint, highly favored one!
God’s opinion of me is always above man’s or in this case woman’s opinion of me. You lose again! :-)

Well God’s blessing has not prevented our troops from getting killed, wounded or be physically/mentally scarred for life.

Well, I don’t see God’s hand protecting the nation from our top conservative business and political leaders for the last 36 years.

AP, you don’t know if God had blessed you or not and you don’t what is God’s opinion of you until Judgement Day as you constantly preach to the rest of us.

    G,
God constantly from the beginning to the end of the bible says how He feels about those who trust in Him and He does not place either a timetable on when that happens, and yes I do know whether He has blessed me or not. You have no right to judge what God has done in my life, because you do not know me. One way He has blessed me is that He gave me a very beautiful daughter who loves and serves Him.

“He does not place either a timetable on when that happens, and yes I do know whether He has blessed me or not.”

You keep contradicting your AP. You tell us in prior articles about the coming of the end of the world and now you tell us that God has no time table.

I have the right to judge you since you feel that you can judge me and others when you don’t know anything about us. Who appointed you God? You are the one that brought up Judgement Day and now you are scared that you just might be judged like anyone else.

“One way He has blessed me is that He gave me a very beautiful daughter who loves and serves Him.”

    And your point?
