“Christmas in July” Stopped

Mr. M. Weinstein and the MRFF,

Sir thank you for working so hard to fix the problem we were facing with having our (Unit Commander’s title withheld) ordering those of us under his command to attend his “Christmas in July Party”. Which was to be held (date and time withheld) at the base (location withheld). Including a mandatory Christmas decorations and nativity stuff crew. And he too assigned singing of religious Christmas carols and readings from the new Testament.

We’re not sure what or how you did it sir? But it has now been totally stopped. Thank you! If there is any attempt to “search and destroy” those of us who reached out and asked for the the MRFF’s help we will let you know immediately sir. (Please do not use our names and other ID sir.)

(names, ranks and duty titles all withheld)

Response From Stalwart MRFF Ally & Military Veteran, Mike Challman:

Mikey,

Gotta admit, I do love everything about Christmas.  But I hate when my fellow Christians use it as a bludgeon to beat people over the head, particularly military leaders who violate their oath in the process.  And I really hate that they seem to think they are doing God’s work when they abuse their authority like that.

So I love to see this outcome, because it’s the absolutely correct resolution.

Peace, MC

Mikey and others elaborate on problem with aforementioned “Christmas in July”:

On Jul 20, 2017, [Name Withheld] asks Mikey:

Did a commander actually order subordinates to attend a “Christmas in July Par[t]y?”  That is So absolutely ridiculous that is it hard to believe anyone would be that dumb and out of touch.

On Jul 20, 2017, Mikey responds:

……..he did not say “I order you…”…he DID, however, make it QUITE clear that he “highly advised” all under his charge to attend ….to “support esprit de corps and unit pride” etc……and he divided up event responsibilities…..a Jewish subordinate was assigned to prepare all Xmas decorations….an “out” atheist subordinate was assigned to play Santa….and it gets worse….

On Jul 20, 2017, Mike Challman references his own experience in military w/the following response:

My own experience in the AF was that a commander only had to announce an event like this, or even just make it clear that he supports the event… and everyone knew what that meant…. and it was also clear that notice was taken of who attended and who did not.

Peace, MC

Way too early to celebrate Christmas

Christmas can be celebrated every day just like the resurrection can. Mike Challman is nothing but an apostate Catholic which is what the Catholic Church is, an apostate church along with its pope who keeps hiding their sins of pedophile priests.

Where does it say in the Bible that Christmas and the resurrection can be celebrated every day, JR? What makes you think that Catholic Church is the only religious organization that has pedophiles?

The reason why we celebrate Christmas on December 25 because that day was actually a Roman holiday: https://www.whychristmas.com/customs/25th.shtml

Let me be then more specific, we can celebrate the spirit of Christmas and the resurrection every day of the year.

I am well aware of why we celebrate it on the 25th, and a lot of Evangelical Christians choose not to celebrate it at all or not on that day but in October when it is more known that is about the time when He was born during the time of Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles.

You are not making any sense as usual.

Then why don’t we celebrate it during those times that you mention?

I don’t care if someone wants to celebrate Christmas every day of the year as long as they don’t force anyone to celebrate with them.

JR likes to muddy the waters. It doesn’t matter what they think of other Christians. It matters a lot that a person used their command (again!!!) to shove their faith in their subordinates face. Didn’t these officers take an oath to defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights? Isn’t bearing false witness one of the top ten no no’s of their faith?

About JRs opinion of other Christians – it really doesn’t matter how they slice and dice faith, it is always personal and can’t be forced by the likes of a Pharasee like JR.
