Dear Mikey,

      My name is (name withheld) and I am a (job title and position withheld) for the Phoenix VA Hospital. On the afternoon of July 11, 2017, I took a break from work and went to the VA Canteen for a snack. On my way to the store, I noticed a Grand Canyon University table was set up and a woman was distributing pamphlets in regarding the religious for-profit university. This is not the first time the Phoenix VA has allowed the pushing of religious institutions on federal property. I knew Mikey and the Military Religious Freedom Foundation would be quick to take action because they have assisted me in another case against the VA in October of 2016. After two months of trying to resolve the issue with the VA Resolution Support Team, I am pleased to announce that a mass email has been sent out to all employees in regards to for-profit universities. The email gives the statute to the United States Code 38 CFR 3683 on Conflicting Interests with for-profit educational institutions. Since the releasing of the email, I have not seen Grand Canyon University operating a distribution table in the hallways of the Carl T. Hayden Phoenix VA Hospital in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. I want to thank Mikey Weinstein and the people at the Military Religious Freedom Foundation for the relentless effort in contacting the useless (Senior VA Position Title and name withheld) who did nothing in regards to this issue, and the other issue in October of 2016. Moving forward, I would like to encourage junior enlisted and commissioned military personnel, and VA employees, to stand up against the pushing of religion in our government. Thank you again, Mikey, for the direction and guidance that has led to the publishing of the mass email for all VA employees to see. You guys ROCK!
