Good Morning,

I am hoping to reach out to you, the Military Religious Freedom organization In regards to the 2017 DOD memorandum and the progress in which the military is actively pursuing the relatively recent additions of various faiths. I myself am a pagan currently serving in the United States Marine Corps and while in the year past I was extremely happy to see the additions to be included after more than a year I am troubled by any lack of foreseeable progress or adherence to the policy changes. I understand the update of any federal system takes patience and time, and while I personally may claim my faith in daily activities and may have my faith listed on my dog tags, I am still unable to have my preference of faith actually recorded in any documentation through the USMC. Without such documents and records I am in a weakened position to make any requests to my command in regards to my faith or in the event of my death I would not be afford proper funeral rites. I am simply hoping for any information you may have as to the military’s progress with following the addition of faiths as set forth by the DoD.

Thank you for all that you do, and may your Gods and mine smile upon you for your work and to your founder Mikey, bless you and your family, thank you for a lifetime of devotion to our country and to the pursuit of freedom for any and all Americans. You are an inspiration to Americans everywhere. Thank you sir.

Dear name withheld. I’m just a civilian retired teacher and music lover from a military family. How disgusting that USMC won’t record your needs. You mention you’re pagan. I don’t know you but hope you enjoy these:

    Pagans worship Satan!

Calif Anon, I’d be anonymous too if I was as ignorant as you.

Pagans do not participate in the Christian pantheon so worshiping Satan is a logical fallacy.

Satanists worship Satan. Pagans worship any number of Gods or Goddesses, none of which are Satan. I know it’s hard for you Calif Anon, that’s why I spelled (pun intended) it out for you.

I need to clarify between old Satanists and new Satanists. Old ones believe in and worship Satan. The new ones don’t believe in Satan and the rules listed on the website are more like guidelines.

My apologies for lumping the two together.

    “Pagans worship Satan!”

Do you have anything proof, Calif Anon?

In the movie Breaker Morant, Lt. Morant told the padre that he was a pagan and Lt. Hancock asks Morant what is a pagan, Lt. Morant told Hancock that a pagan is someone who doesn’t believe that there is a divine being dispensing justice to mankind.
