Hello there Traitor Weinstein:

As a proud graduate myself of the United States Air Force Academy I am appalled by everything you stand for.
You, your MRFF and your entire brood of Weinstein Family USAFA graduates have permanently stained our fine Academy by your open hostility to Jesus Christ and all things Christian.

You hate Christ and persecute Christians as the Nazis hated Judaism and persecuted the Jews. You might want to think about that a bit, sir?

I was particularly offended when I just saw that you are somehow listed as a “Notable Graduate” on the USAFA Wikipedia page. The only thing “notable” about you, sir, is your unholy hostility towards Jesus Christ and His followers in the USAF and the rest of our military service branches. You are a latter day Saul of Tarsus.

Mr. Michael Weinstein, you are a traitor to America’s clear Christian origins and as such you are also a traitor to the constitution which was born of faith in Christian precepts of tolerance and love for all mankind.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Your eternal life shall be aflame in hell forever, sir. No one ever deserved to burn as much as you do and will.

I and other USAFA graduates will be contacting the Academy and demanding that your ugly name be removed from the “Notable Graduates” listing on USAFA’s Wikipedia Page.

You and your family are a disgrace, sir, to all that is good and holy in this Promised Land.

Trying to reply to this e-mail will prove futile to you and your minions of evil.

Hello there anonymous coward whose hate-filled ad hominem attack on your fellow USAFA graduate, fellow USAF veteran & fellow American (Military Religious Freedom Foundation Founder & President Mikey Weinstein – a true American patriot) because he was born of a Jewish mother (like Jesus) reflects only on yourself & reveals blatant  bigotry unbecoming an officer, an American & one who claims to be a Christian.

Your insidious inconsistency in mentioning Christian tolerance & love for all mankind while engaging in the un-Christian condemning & judging of a fellow human being represents the height of hypocrisy & an ignominious ignoramus who cannot communicate with intelligence or integrity.

60,000 military men & women (96% are Christians) have complained & requested their right to freedom of religion, to which all Americans are entitled under the Constitution, be respected & protected. They are fortunate the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (over 80% are Christians) exists to represent them. The Military Religious Freedom Foundation does so with patriotic pride & will continue to do so.

Pseudo-Christains, like yourself, contemptuously contend only those who share your radicalized beliefs are entitled to freedom of religion. It is obvious from your diabolical diatribe that you know nothing about the US Constitution, US Supreme Court rulings or US Armed Forces regulations. It is also obvious that you know little about the Christian New Testament. It would be wise if you spent more time reading these & less time hurling hatred at others.

Dear Nino (aka,  Anonymous Coward)

I, too, am a grad–but not a very distinguished one.  I’m also a long-time supporter of the MRFF and now on its Advisory Board.  I occasionally respond to venomous filth like what you’ve written below.  Usually, I do that anonymously, but in this case, I’ll sign it…  I’ve inserted my comments to your remarks in italics below.

Hello there Traitor Weinstein:

Nice dangling preposition.  Clearly not an English major.  Mikey and the MRFF stands for integrity, our Constitutional Rights, and a strong and effective military open to all able to contribute to our nation’s defense.  Since that appalls you, I must say that YOU appall me.
You, your MRFF and your entire brood of Weinstein Family USAFA graduates have permanently stained our fine Academy by your open hostility to Jesus Christ and all things Christian.
Mikey and his family (many of who are Christians, believe it or not) have shown no open hostility to Christ or Christians.  They HAVE, however (including the Christians) demonstrated their dismay and opposition to those that would make a single religious perspective a requirement for honorable service in our military–contrary to the 1st Amendment and Article 6 of the Constitution.
You hate Christ and persecute Christians as the Nazis hated Judaism and persecuted the Jews. You might want to think about that a bit, sir?
Whoa, there, Nellie…  Mikey and the MRFF have not persecuted Christians.  I know with 100% certainty that they have not restricted Christian’s from employment, free off-duty expression, the right to peaceably assemble, or the right to LIVE.  The MRFF has not killed ANYONE.  The MRFF and Mikey have not practiced eugenics or conducted any medical experiments on Christians.  They have not gassed  and killed millions.  Equating Mikey and the MRFF to the Nazis in any fashion shows a level of cognitive dissonance that should require a full physical and mental exam.  Please contact the VA immediately to get this accomplished.

To me, establishing and leading an award-winning, Nobel Prize-nominated organization that is world-renowned for protecting the rights of Americans makes him quite distinguished.  You’re welcome to disagree here, but we don’t have to actually LIKE people that are notable.  The fact that you wrote this e-mail tells me that he’s a notable grad.  Otherwise, why bother?  If you’ve noted his existence, he’s notable.

Mr. Michael Weinstein, you are a traitor to America’s clear Christian origins and as such you are also a traitor to the constitution which was born of faith in Christian precepts of tolerance and love for all mankind.
While most Americans then and now have some background or ancestors that are Christian, and much of our governing philosophy may have parallels or some basis in Christianity or the Bible, saying that our Constitution is “Christian” is less accurate than if one were to call it Greek (Aristotelian?) or (as I prefer) a direct product of the Age of Enlightenment.  I suggest reading Steven Pinker’s “Enlightenment Now” for background here.  Christians have no monopoly on tolerance and love.  The Buddhists are probably more tolerant as I’m unaware of any Buddhist Crusades, Progroms, or Inquisitions.  The Hindus are pretty big on love. So you believe.  And, I spent 37+ years defending your right to believe this.  (Nice Christian thought there, by the way–filled with charity and forgiveness) I don’t believe what you say here.  There are many in uniform that don’t believe this either and they’re serving honorably.
I and other USAFA graduates will be contacting the Academy and demanding that your ugly name be removed from the “Notable Graduates” listing on USAFA’s Wikipedia Page.
Go ahead.  Again, this is your right.  I don’t think the Academy controls USAFA’s Wikipedia Page, though.

So, you’re saying:  “Because I’m a coward that can only crawl out from under my rock to spit venom (and then run back and quiver with fear), I don’t want to hear back from you.  You scare me.  The sunlight bothers me and I don’t like to meet people that don’t agree with me because then it makes me question my beliefs and that makes me sad because I can’t think critically and really justify how I feel.”

I just how the general says that this person does not know anything about the NT, when the general himself knows just as much about the NT as he knows about the Constitution, which is not much.
Also, the only thing Michael has in common with Jesus is they are both Jesus, but Michael and Saul of Tarsus have much in common, both are vile persecutors of Christians, yet Saul accepted Jesus as his Messiah, and we still pray Michael does before it is too late to do the same.

(Concern voice) Beth, are you ok? Your comment is less coherent than usual – the only thing Mikey has in common with Jesus is they are both Jesus?

Seek help. It’s the responsible thing for you to do and me to suggest.

    “A latter-day Saul of Tarsus”?

I seem to recall that he’s a Christian saint, one of the biggest, too.

If this guy wants to hang Saul’s — St Paul’s — mantle on Mikey, he certainly could do worse.

Beth Zion appends “MMC” to her name, Roman numerals for 2100.
I have no idea what she means by that, but she does seem to be on
    her own little planet.

I am an atheist who is being persecuted for pushing back against the privileged christian supremacist tide brought to us by Fox and copycat networks who have to compete with Fox’s christian nationalism. At one time I donated freely to MRFF but was eventually banned because I spoke of the growing supremacist tide. I uncovered and wrote about christian propaganda on social media, and the ongoing hoped for outcomes of those efforts. As a atheist my perspective is that my rights to present my views are being quashed in the face of christian privilege. My views are simple, there are no gods; that claim is dominant, no god has ever been proven. Christianity is structured on that fact, ‘faith’ is required, which recognizes that no god has ever been proven. Our Constitution recognizes that all beliefs are given equal recognition, yet christian supremacy increasingly demands as their god demands, it requires conversion of all, even as the destruction of the Constitution is necessary to achieve that state. The god of another Abrahamic faith demands the same, conversion of all to that faith, leading to a conflict of fanaticism, war without end, the product of non-existent supernatural beings destroying humanity.
