From what I have learned is y’all just like to stir shit. Live and let live! No! It has to be yer way. If all faith books were on the table would that make you happy? I think not… you would only find something else to bitch about.

Department of Veteran Affairs medical facilities are for all veterans (of different religious & non-religious beliefs) seeking health care. They are not worship centers for only some Christians. All religious scriptures can be placed in the hospital chapels for those who want to see, read or use them.
To publicly promote one version of religion (over all other beliefs) by placing its religious scripture predominantly in the middle of non-religious POW/MIA remembrance displays in the public foyer of government facilities violates the US Constitution 1st Amendment (& long standing American law interpreting it) prohibiting our secular government from endorsing a religion & requiring government neutrality regarding religion (neither pro-religion nor anti-religion but religion-neutral).

Well, (name withheld), surprise! You’re wrong.

I don’t know where y’all learned what y’all claim to have learned, but y’all are apparently looking n the

wrong places. A table with writings representing all belief systems would be a good faith attempt. We

have no problem with good faith attempts. But others, apparently like you, are content to assume their

own faith is the only one necessary to be included.

Now what do you have to bitch about?

I go to a VA hospital in West Virginia and I am proud to say they have a Bible on it. I always put my hand on the case and bow my head in deepest respect to my brothers who were prisoners or never came home. Shame on the MRFF for dishonoring these brave men to promote your selfish agenda. May God have mercy on all of you.

Old Soldier is proud to be a Christian Nationalist, their bigotry displayed for all the public to see. They are like Pharisees, all hat, no cattle

    Added note to Old Soldier:
How dare I question your patriotism Old Soldier? I dare because you seem to believe it’s an approved act if you throw shade but it’s persecution if you become the recipient.

tl;dr- you can dish it but you can’t take it.

It troubled you not Old Soldier that only your faith has representation. It troubles you not that the original creators of the POW Table wanted the table to be secular.

It troubles me that you, Old Soldier, cannot see the boundaries you are breaking. It troubles me that you refuse to share this great country, viewing the coming equality as persecution.

My hope is any progeny you have will do better than yourself for your worldview truly troubles me.

There are thousands of people that walk thru VA hospitals and see that table with a Bible on it. Why should it be removed just because a few people complain. I seem to recall the MRFF was upset with Nativity Scenes on military bases as well. They are not about freedom only taking it away, acting like a bunch of spoiled children who don’t get there way and promoting their own selfish agenda.

    Old Soldier,

Such a Christian Nationalist, aren’t you?

What else is there to say? You despoil the Constitution, you celebrate discrimination as long as you are doing the discriminating. Honestly, as Jesus was a brown person who fed the poor and advised taking care of the stranger I’m not entirely certain you would follow him if he came back today.

What am I saying? LOL. Of course you’d deport historical Jesus because in your mind Jesus is a white man, amirite?

Oh, in case you respond please spare me the What will you say to your Creator when you die speech. I’ve met my creators. I call them Mom and Dad.

As for my spiritual beliefs that’s none of your beeswax.
