Shields of Strength

You piece of shit! Really? Twenty-seven years and three different shields I wore and now you’re taking it away for thousands of troops! Your organization is a disgrace! Just because you think you can shove your ideology on others! Dude you need a freaking life!

I hope I never meet you in person – wouldn’t be a very pleasant experience!

(name withheld),

You disappoint. Such a “manly” demonstration, so macho, rather like a kid in a schoolyard. And from one who claims to have been a commissioned officer, too. One would think you’d know better.

Once you check out the facts I suspect you’ll be properly embarrassed, and rightly so. The oh, so “Christian” company you’re willing to go to battle for, the one that makes the dog-tag facsimiles, got to use the official designation of the various branches of the military by agreeing that they would neither profit by their sale nor attach any religious words or significance to them. They subsequently violated both and are being stripped of the right to use the military ID at a result.

So if you do “meet (any of us) in person,” I trust you’ll have an apology ready at hand.

LTC (name withheld), your condemning & threatening message is morally misdirected. It would be more rationally redirected at those who disrespect & disregard our laws rather than at those who respect & request compliance with them.

Military members may possess any belief & purchase any scripture they desire, but a private civilian business cannot dishonestly & illegally profit off of them by misrepresenting & mismarking its souvenir merchandise as official government issued military identification tags in violation of its lawful procurement contract with the Department of Defense & regulatory laws.

I would like to see LTC take on Mikey, but it would not be fair for Mikey.

Yeah, WFZ and the LTC would go to prison for physical violence against Mickey.
