What is even great is that the Air Force sent JAG Recruiters to Liberty Law School. “While Liberty Law has placed several alumni as JAGs across all branches of the military, it recently had its first student selected for the highly competitive JAG one-year college program, and another student received a direct appointment as well.”

Mikey can always demand, does not mean anything will be done. I think the Sec of Def has a lot more important things to do than deal with a civilians demands.

The pertinent question left unanswered is why civilians were permitted to participate in a military trial.
The theocrats aren’t even hiding anymore.
Kids (I’m an old so anyone under thirty could well be my kid), please vote blue no matter who in the elections this year. Remember, you outnumber the rest of us.

In case my comment is not clear:
– the word civilians is in reference to the participating students.
– I’m aware the MRFF has a large contingent of volunteer civilians (even if many are retired military).
– I’m sure a list of worthy schools who also participated in trials is available for the public to view (narrators voice: No, I’m not sure)
The bottom line is that Mikey Weinstein is an atheist and wants to force his ideology on everyone else with total distegard for Our First Amendment inalienable right and he falsely uses the military as his platform. He cannot accept the fact that, a) seperation of church and state does not appear in any founding document and b) that people can really be in the military and be Christ following, by faith, Christians. He has waged war against military chaplains, disregarding the fact that they were prominent as far back as the Revolutionary War, (Black Robe Regiment) and still have a purposefyl role in todays military. You don’t have to be a believer. No one should be forcing Christianity upon anyone else. That isn’t God’s or Jesus’ plan. But I encourage people to at least listen to God’s plea, Psalm 23. If you choose to follow Mikey Weinstein’s path of thought, that is your choice but don’t try to force it on everyone else because, “as for me and my household, we choose to follow the Lord”.

Great ideas Bernard. I have always enjoyed the story of the Black Robe Regiment, as one of my ancestors served in the American Revolutionary War.

I love the hypocrisy of Christian Nationalists, and by love I mean gobsmacked by their lack of a thought deeper than a puddle on the sidewalk.
What do I mean?
Well, Bernard here slams Mikey for shoving his Atheism (Mikey is not an Atheist) down everyone’s throat while insisting everyone take a knee to honor Bernards faith but only their faith.
I see the logic fail – am I the only one?
I’m glad people like Bernard and Hi found something that gives their life meaning. Some look forever and never find it.
That said, what works for them does not work for everyone which is why the Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution and Bill of Rights the way they did.
I’m not sure how to teach Christian Nationalists that their right to religion ends where my rights begin. I don’t know how to convey to them that I, a Heathen and a Pagan enjoy the same rights as they do.
I’ve thought about a rolled up newspaper or a squirt bottle but there are so many of them and only one of me. And smiting has a very limited effectiveness.
Interest Based Problem Solving might work…. I don’t know – this is an issue for greater minds than mine to solve.
