Subject: The Bibles are gone, thank you

Mikey,

I checked in one more time this morning, and the Bibles haven’t returned. The same “The Word” magazines that I sent a picture of are out, but seems like they’ve conceded as far as the Bibles go.

Thank you again for your decisive action in dealing with this blatant violation of the constitution. Because of MRFF’s work, the thousands of sailors who come through NPTU each year for training will not face this kind of proselytization. I’ve been uncomfortable with the public and exclusive presence of Christianity in the Navy for some time, but have not felt comfortable speaking out for fear of reprisal. I am thankful to have MRFF taking a firm stand against Christian fundamentalists who believe that it is their right to advertise Christian beliefs anywhere and everywhere in the military.

Respectfully,
(Active Duty U.S. Navy Officer’s name, rank, MOS and unit all withheld)

I will call some churches and ask them to put out some more bibles.

    Allan,
Let me know if you need money for Bibles

Christianists – two apple slices short of a kids meal.

If Christianists like Allan and Daniels place their unwanted book of myths on Government property it’s my guess the books will be tossed. Apparently neither Christianist is hurting for cash so, yeah. Put those books where they are illegal, drain your funds to fill a never ending cycle of placement and disposal.

Unless all faiths and lack of faith are fairly represented on government property then no one gets to post material.

Only people crying persecution are the ones who’ve been doing the oppressing for thousands of years. I guess they should have paid attention to the fine print when invoking their Golden Rule.

(Narrators voice: always read the fine print. If Christianists had they would have discovered by oppressing others that meant they themselves desired to be oppressed.)

One day Grey One will find out it is no book of myths when she is burning in eternal torment. I wonder how she will feel with her soul is burning with absolutely no relief forever and forever in complete darkness with no one else she can see, but only hear the screams of others who are suffering the same eternal punishment she is. She may even the cries of all her relatives in torment and cannot help them as well.

Allan, please explain how you come to use the pronoun ‘she’ with me? I’ve not revealed if I’m male or female. Methinks you presume much.

I guess it does make some sense – you being all homophobic and all. Can’t have Hell pron if I turn out to be male now can you? But if I’m female!?!? Yowsers! I bet it was good for you thinking of me as a girl, was it good for you Allan?

By the way, one doesn’t involve family in these discussions because EVERYONE HAS FAMILY. Do you really want to walk this path?

Jesus would weep at what his followers have become.

    Grey One,
How am I homophobic, because I believe what Jesus taught what biblical marriage is? That would mean Jesus was homophobic, do you really want to go there do you?
Jesus would approve of His followers speaking the truth of what He taught. Jesus also taught about hell, because He died so that nobody would have to go there, if, they would accept His free gift of salvation. That of course surrendering your will and life completely to Him and dying to your own will and desires.

Myth: a usually traditional story of ostensibly historical events that serves to unfold part of the world view of a people or explain a practice, belief, or natural phenomenon creation myths.

Homophobic: having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against homosexual people.

Any other terms Allan you need help to define?

Interesting historical note: in the early stories of Christianity the concept of Hell was an unknown. The texts are clear, one minute He’ll does not exist, the next the clergy of the early church are yammering about it nonstop. It’s almost as if the clergy made it up (and changed their book so it would match) to keep the lower classes in line.

Amazing what one can learn if they take the time to read history.

Oh, and Allan? The Christ of your holy book said nothing against homosexuality. His ministers were not so enlightened (looking at you Paul, original poster child for the MRA)

Baumann. Has anyone come back from heaven or hell and ever come to you and say that they exist? The answer is no.
