That is not anti-Semitic but biblical. Hell awaits all Jews who will not accept Christ as their Messiah, including Mikey, his wife, son, and all grand kids.

Allan, thanks for providing Reason #6,453,234 for the Christian Bible to not be the basis of any government.

    Dear Grey One,
A lot of the teachings of the bible were the basis for the founding of the United States. Have you seen the Supreme Court building in DC, there on the top is a picture of Moses receiving the Law, Torah.

    Allan,

I’ve heard the nattering before; the Christian Bible is the influence of the American Constitution. So… what unique influences are you talking about?

(This question has been asked many times in response to those who’ve made the same claim Allen made here but has yet to be answered. Just things that make one go hmmmmm…..)

@Serious students of the Founding Fathers know many influences were brought into play in creating the new nation. They’d just survived the Thomas Moore/Cromwell business and were not eager to repeat the experience hence the wording of the First Amendment.

As one commenter has stated before on this site and please forgive me for not knowing the Nation, but their rules of governing can be directly traced to the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The founding guys wrote journals filled to the brim with these little historical tidbits so why would Allan continue to insist upon a direct correlation between the Christian Bible and the Constitution?

Feels like a lack of curiosity to me.

This anti-American, anti-Semitic & anti-Christian bigot is really Robert Fritch who has neither the courage nor conviction to provide his identity. Hurling hypocritical hatred at a fellow American & his family because he was born of a Jewish mother (like Jesus, his disciples & all biblical authors) reflects only on this perverse perpetrator & reveals a deranged demagogue incapable of civil communication.

If this biblical illiterate was aware of Romans 2:10&11, he would know God gives “glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism”. If he discovers Romans 10:12, 1 Corinthians 12:13 & Galatians 3:28, he will learn there is no difference between Jew & Gentile for we are all one. If he knew biblical history, he would know there would be no Christianities without the Jewish faith, culture & people.

Brigadier General John Compere, US Army (Retired), you rarely, if ever appear as yourself in the comment section, let alone to unmask another person, even if they are an annoying piece of sod.

So… welcome to the peanut gallery. I’ve made myself at home here – there’s snacks on the counter over against the far wall, drinks in the fridge, and please clean up after yourself because there is no maid.

That said, what does it matter if Allan Baumann has a different name? My mother certainly did not name me Grey One.

Allan/Robert/Lucy could call themselves Einstein but that won’t change who they revealed themselves to be in their own words. They are more attached to the rules of men and their Two Minute Hates to ever accept Love in all It’s colors and flavors (which rarely does what humans think it should do. Love is like that).

As for his holy book, everything Allan knows about the Christian Bible was told to him by his pastor. Or if he did read more than the highlighted portions, his comprehension skills need some help.

I do battle not with Allan specifically but in general as the ideas he espouses have been stated by at least seven previous identities. Almost word for word too which is a wee bit creepy in a Sinclair way.

I’m sure when the Allan persona loses its allure we will see another name spouting the same rhetoric. They are a looped tape, even if they aren’t aware of it.

    By the way Allan/Robert/Lucy,

I found five more verses talking about sharing in Christianity aka the teachings of Christ. I posted them on our original conversation. Care to comment? Or will you admit that your knowledge of your holy book could use some work?

  8. Jared Russell Atkinson September 5, 2020 at 2:10 pm

And what makes the Bible correct over the Torah or Quran?

  9. Patriot Pastor September 5, 2020 at 2:36 pm

    Jared,
The bible is the Torah ultimately and it is correct for it is all inspired by Holy Spirit, while the Quran is written by a fallible sinful man. The Torah can mean, instruction, teaching or law. All 66 books of the bible were written by man under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Triune God.

  10. Grey One Talks Sass September 6, 2020 at 2:06 pm

Jared, Not sure if you were asking me the question but I have an answer.

None of the holy books attributed to any of the worlds religions should be used as the basis of any government. And here is why –

The point of government is to combine efforts of citizens to accomplish what they cannot get done alone. Each holy book I’ve read has one class or sort of human who is to be shunned. Kinda hard to work together if 30% of the crew fall into the shunned category.

Therefore, I suggest religious holy books remain compilations which define believers as a people, culture, and faith. Nothing need change.

That is on one side of the wall.

The other side is government, free from the influence of anyone’s religion. This means, at least for the USA, Christianists need to remove their grubby paws off the government of We The People.

This last bit is for the Christianist players to will earnestly tell me the words wall between church and state don’t occur in the First Amendment.

    Yes. I know.

Haven’t you ever heard of Captain Dummy Speak? (Thank you Firefly for the amazing phrase)

  11. Grey One Talks Sass September 10, 2020 at 5:21 am

    Patriot Pastor,

Thank you for providing proof you don’t speak for all Christians.

What do I mean? Well, when you said “All 66 books of the bible were written by man under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Triune God.” I flashed back to another conversation by equally earnest folk who claim the exact opposite, specifically your definition of the Three In One Deity.

Neither side has a grasp on reality in my opinion but that’s not the point.

The point is when Humans are fact/evidence based in their faith there are no interpretational disagreements as unlike truth and it’s myriad perspectives, facts are facts. *Faith comes into play only when we understand the more knowledge we acquire the more knowledge there is to discover (looking at you Dark Matter, that which holds all things together).

Your attachment to Dogma is your undoing Patriot Pastor. Please consider you just might not have all the answers before splurting your absolutes for everyone to see.

*faith = believing in a thing without a shred of physical evidence – paraphrased from everywhere.

PS – I believe mathematical proof is physical evidence but not all humans agree.
