I listened to the clip, read the story.
My opinion is Tony Perkins is a blight upon the earth. Tried for more descriptors but why add frosting to the poop sandwich which is Tonette?
Doesn’t matter the topic, Tony’s hateful and ignorant self will sully the purest idea. And he’s what the evangelicals consider a Voice of Authority!
Per the clip, Christianists are saying the quiet part out loud, that’s how confident they are about winning the war for our country. We The People must continue to vote Blue, even for the county dog catcher. Get these God before Country zealots out of our democracy or in ‘22 we will be a theocracy (think Afghanistan’s Taliban only meaner – cruelty was the point of the former guy’s administration and evangelicals were their biggest fan).
Completely agree with you Grey one on both counts, your comments about Perkins as well as the vote blue part.
Unfortunately, we have a lot of these nut jobs in positions of power in this country!
I believe America, unfortunately, and maybe even all life on this planet, is pretty much over owing to these delusional nut bags.
It won’t happen in my time but it will happen, maybe the next century. The only thing Christians have, by sheer happenstance, gotten right is their prediction about the “end times” that they, ironically, are bringing about! It won’t be the end times they envision though!

I wonder what it will be like as the realization finally sets in as it becomes harder to breathe in a much hotter climate with new forms of natural disasters. When oxygen becomes THE commodity. When the intelligence community puts a number on the generations remaining. They won’t tell the masses. The political elites as well as the well to do will control and buy their sanctuaries and produce their own oxygen, and food and water – for awhile. But at some point they’ll know
they will have to take their own lives as society completely breaks down and their supplies run out. No order, just panic and chaos! No courts, no judges, no rule of law, no hospitals, no food, no transportation, no electricity – it will all stop working and protective enclaves will form in the regions that still have a temperate climate and breathable air. No one to bury the bodies, abandoned homes, cars, buildings. No government and no one is your friend! What a way to die!
Got off on a tangent. I agree, Perkins is a bile threat to humanity!
