Response from MRFF Advisory Board Member Mike Farrell

Dickey was intended as a riposte-in-kind had your abuse of Miikey’s name been intentional. Mr. Koethe was intended as the respectful alternative had it not been. As indicated, you were not clear, thus I was offering a response to each possibility. I trust, however, my choice to deal with your message respectfully was made clear by what followed.
To the hypothetical, I would personally have no problem with your right to have a Bible on your bookshelf and I know the MRFF has, in like situations, defended your position. So the answer to your question is that you’d have become a client.
Per the DoD directive regarding use of military insignia, I think the phrase “imply DoD support” answers the question.
Thanks for clarifying.
I wish you well.

This is supposed to be a free country. Organizations like this, go way to far. This is anti American. If you don’t believe in religion fine that’s your choice. Let others live their lives. No one puts a gun to anyone’s head and tell them you will read this and believe it or else. Your leftists that seek to destroy the core values of this once great country. It’s organizations like this that are ruining my country. Many served and died for this country who did believe in God. You are denying them and the service and life they gave for you.

Don: nobody is denying anyone the right to practice their religion and believe what they want. The MRFF is protecting religious freedom for everyone – which requires that government and religion don’t mix. It is not anti-American to protect freedom of religion – it is one of the basic freedoms that we in the USA cherish. We who value our religious freedom know it can be easily eroded and completely denied to us by religious bigots who insist on violating the religious freedom rights of others by using government to force their religious beliefs on others, and in so doing violate the first amendment’s establishment clause. There has never been a country with freedom of religion in which government and religion mix. And there never will be such a country.
