Sorry, Soldier, MRFF Isn’t Buying Your Sudden Religious Devoutness Against Vaccines

Medical service member filling syringe to vaccinate soldier

The Department of Defense announced yesterday, August 9, that all service members will be required to get vaccinated against COVID no later than mid-September.

Not surprisingly, MRFF has been inundated with phone calls and emails from service members attempting to enlist our help in deploying their specious, convoluted, and outright ridiculous religious arguments to evade getting vaccinated.

I’m former military, and when you join the inoculate you with several vaccines. You know what you signed up for, the UCMJ is very clear.

All for mandated vaccines in the Military, however not for forced vaccination with an experimental Emergency Use vaccine. Pfizer and Moderna covid vaccines are the first mRNA vaccines to make it to Stage 3 human trials. Would think about the Johnson & Johnson, not a mRNA vaccine

The amount of people I look down upon now as not American and how much I wish they couldn’t claim to be servicemen is astonishing. I’m an American first and Marine second. You can’t force a vaccine on me

  5. Sherry Lewis August 12, 2021 at 7:03 pm

This is no vaccine. It is an experimental biological agent that has killed and injured many Americans. It does BOT stop the spread of the virus.

Stephen Jubrey and Sherry Lewis claim that vaccines which have ongoing clinical trials on 100 thousand people for almost a year, and have been given to hundreds of millions of people this year, to be “experimental.” The data analysis from those trials are the LAST step to full FDA approval, which should be completed in 2 months or less. The anti-vaxxers will probably still try to call them “experimental” then.

You have no right to judge another person’s religious beliefs. These vaccines have a connection to abortion. Some people cannot in good conscience take them. Try being tolerant. You preach that all the time.

  8. Tom O August 13, 2021 at 8:28 am

In what way do “These vaccines have a connection to abortion”?

Lori, the ‘connection’ you are so concerned about is decades old. And as I understand the data there aren’t fetal cells IN the vaccine but they were used in testing the vax. Very thin connection to risk your life on – just saying…

Do you know the story where the True Believer (trademark pending, all rights reserved) sitting on the roof of their flooded house dies after refusing help from a person in a raft, boat, and helicopter because they prayed and know for a fact their Lord and Savior will come to save them?

If you know the story then you know the punch line too – correct?

According to the narrative it was their Lord and Savior who sent the help in the raft, boat, and helicopter but because the rescues weren’t Jesus himself the person on the house couldn’t see the actions of their deity.

I suggest you listen and look again with sacred eyes at what is recommended for citizens in the USA to do to avoid catching COVID because the virus is real and it’s considerably more dangerous than the flu or a cold.

Ask yourself this vaccine hesitant human – why are all the political and media leaders of the Right vaxed? If they don’t believe it’s effective or they object on religious grounds why did they get the shot? And since they did get their shot why are they promoting language to deter you, common citizen, from joining their immune ranks?

Those are the questions you should be asking yourself. Why do they want you to die horribly or worse, get the disease and live with long haulers for the rest of your life? Can honestly say I do not recommend – 692 / bamzillion.

That reminds me of a shirt I saw that says “Jesus wasn’t vaccinated.” It should add that Jesus didn’t brush his teeth or put antiseptic on a cut either.

  12. Grey One Talks Sass August 18, 2021 at 4:06 am

I’ve been reading many stories of very vocal anti-vaxers getting COVID-19. The only reason anyone is hearing about all any of these cases is the family of the loudmouth tweets a call for prayers for their loved one.

Sometimes the prayer works. Sometimes not.

What does work 24/7 are the medical teams who are fed up of all the anti-vaxers refusing a safe vaccine only to take up an ICU bed when things go pear shaped.

Yes, the vaccine is safe. As I understand ALL the scientists who’ve spoken at great length about the subject is much of the work was already done. All they had to do was a few tweaks and we had a weapon against the greatest killer of our generation.

Speaking of anti-vaxers – James, you still with us? I may disagree with everything you stand for but I don’t wish death upon you. Not my style.

Tom O – amazing info. Thanks. Also pretty sure Jesus never ate bacon. Even when plant based, there is something about ‘bacon’ that fills a primal need. So sad He (if he existed) missed out.
