MRFF Takes a Stand Against “Wreaths Across America’s” Annual Desecration of Non-Christian Veterans’ Graves with its Christmas Wreaths
On December 18, the graves of all veterans in our country’s 155 national cemeteries and numerous other locations where American veterans are buried, will be indiscriminately decorated with Christmas wreaths by the organization Wreaths Across America.
The gravesites of Christians and non-Christians alike will be adorned with this hijacked-from-paganism symbol of Christianity — circular and made of evergreen to symbolize everlasting life through Jesus Christ — whether the families of the deceased veterans like it or not.

I understand your concern with the laying of Christmas wreaths on EVERY grave without regard that some of those graves are clearly marked with emblems other than Christian. According to United States Department of Veterans Affairs page there are 74 religious emblems available for headstones. So perhaps they need to come up with a way of allowing families to decide if they want the wreath.
I’m a fairly liberal guy but I think your take here is stupid if your overall goal is preserve the separation of church and state. This is red meat for both the Maga crowd and the Christian crowd and you know it. Get a grip and channel your efforts in a more effective direction.
A wreath is not a Christian symbol. Wreaths have been used by Christians today and in the past but is also secular.

Some people need to get a life and stop causing problems for others. This is an act of good will and because of this action that tge MRFF are doing this disabled veteran will no longer send any donations to this organization ever again. Their statement ( without permission of the surviving families is unconditional, an atrocity and a disgrace) is B.S. How about you read what the real constitution of the United States of America says instead of making something up just because you do not like it. For an organization that has the Word (Freedom) in its title you really do not know what that word really means. I hope you loose all funding.

The act of placing wreaths on the graves of our fallen soldiers is in, NO WAY, an atrocity and a disgrace! Spray painting crosses on the tombstones of any solider that is doesn’t have a cross would be considered an atrocity. You need to rethink your verbiage because you make absolutely no sense. This act is symbolism for the fact that we STILL HONOR and REMEMBER each of them. It is a simple token of appreciation. Nothing more. You would find anything to complain about, a white candle, or heart shaped flags, Poinsettias, whatever was being placed, you would find fault in it. It was started by a family that recognized that NO ONE, not even this organization from what I found, was doing anything for those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for all of us, during this time of year. As a VET of both Jewish and Christian heritage, I can find plenty of things that you could complain about. Except you choose to complain about something that is good.
Let’s put it this way, when the wrong things become right and the right things become wrong, then we all need to look for things not of this world.

Your accusations about Wreaths Across America are down right ridiculous! They have organized a time each holiday season where they enlist thousands of volunteers to show that we remember this countries fallen hero’s during this festive time of the year. If they hadn’t started this program years ago, our fallen vets would be out of sight, out of mind and as a vet with friends buried at Arlington, I appreciate their efforts.
I’m curious as to what you organization gets in return for paying your bloated salary. You are taking almost half of what your organization takes in and this is how you spend your time and resources on their behalf. Utter nonsense and you should hang your head in shame for making such slanderous comments.
