Hey Mikey,
My Dad was an Infantry General and we supported him, even though it was very tough moving and when he was in Viet Nam for a couple of years.   We knew great people like General  Westmoreland and countless others and I would bet that none of them, not one, would object to laying wreaths and so what the hell is your problem?  Have you lost your mind?   It appears so.
You need to change your MO because it really sucks and is really dumb.   You probably should not have 501 c status with your present arrangement, so I would make an about face if I were you.  Just admit you were wrong, people would be impressed.   I guarantee it.
Best regards,

Please be advised there are families of deceased military veterans who do not want a religious organization to which they do not belong or support profiting, promoting its religion & marketing itself by presumptuously putting its religious wreaths on the graves of their deceased loved ones without permission. Those families consider it uninvited & unwanted intrusions on the personal burial sites of their deceased family members.
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (composed of 85% Christians) represents, when requested, the religious freedom rights of those military families to object & prevent what they consider thoughtless trespasses on the graves of their deceased military veterans. We do so because we respect the wishes of those families & the religious organization responsible for the religious wreaths does not.

Give it a rest, you and your dumb non-profit are in the minority here. You need to just face facts and realize nobody cares what you or your dumb organization thinks. It’s about the 90% of normal people who enjoy this, not the 10% of idiots who think it’s offensive. We will press on and continue to place wreaths, and proceed with our beloved traditions regardless of whether you like it or not. Move on, find something more important to do. Big sad for you, bud.

    Prime-time clown show.

Sounds like the prime time clown in the 90% is kin to the 90% that also thought slavery was ok! You know, majority rules right?
This country was founded on principles of protecting the minority from the tyranny of a majority. Course, the Christian bigots in this country (think MAGA) are doing everything they can to change it. Christianity is rapidly on the wane and they know it! Desperate pleas from a dying religion incite hatred, populism, and fascism. A desperate few religious zealots trying to hang on to their majority but to no avail – churches are closing all over the country! In 2016, 73.7 % of the population in the US identified as Christian. Today it’s less than 65 %. We’re getting closer to the real truth every day!
For you MAGA heads, empty the lead out of your shotgun shells, load up your pockets – and walk into the ocean!
Or, alternately, no mask, no vaccine, and gather in large crowds!
