The Worcester Wreath Co. of Columbia Falls, Maine, referring to its supplying of the Christmas wreaths placed on every veterans’ graves in thousands of cemeteries across the country each year, including 145 of the 155 national cemeteries, by the organization Wreaths Across America, proudly boasts on its website’s “About Us” page, (emphasis added):

“It is from these same sacred forests that the wreaths used by Wreaths Across America in the annual wreath-laying ceremonies are handcrafted. We’re honored and proud that our commitment to integrity and quality led to them to choose us as their provider of quality wreaths.”

I can not believe I saw this story. HOW DARE YOU! My father was a Veteran and if someone or group wants to place a wreath at his graveside, I thank them and applaud their actions. HOW DARE YOU act as if this is wrong or immoral. Those Veterans are rolling over in their Graves over the stupidity and disrespect your group is showing them. My father was not a religious man but he fought to preserve the American way of life during WWII. You are attempting to demean their actions and sacrifices. Your group is an atrocity and a piece of vile animal dung. I wish I could say this to your faces and truly deliver my message to all of you with full force of my conviction.

    You are idiots.

  3. Grey One Talks Sass December 6, 2021 at 5:55 pm

Welp, the blithering cultists got their marching orders. We should see a few more examples of their sharp as dead fish logic and sweet as a stale cat box prose.

Using the logic employed by Lawrence they should be delighted if the Satanists place garlands on the graves of veterans, correct?

You and I both know Lawrence would split a gasket. The hypocrisy is a feature not a bug.

I guess if some Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Buddhist, or Nature-based faith group honored all veterans by placing their religious symbol on all of the headstones regardless of the soldiers’ actual faith, they’d be fine with that then.

  5. Ty McGibbon December 8, 2021 at 4:16 pm

I read about wreaths on veterans cemetery And I almost feel out of my chair. It’s not a religious thing !!! It’s for Christmas Just think what message your article is sending to our kids ! There are people who just want to give a little back by saying Thank you and your not a lone this Christmas and maybe that veteran there at rest maybe there family members can’t go to visit. How can you make a statement it not right? That’s the problem everybody in the world they find something wrong in everything good That veteran laying at rest have gave so much So before you make something so bad think of them

  6. Nana December 8, 2021 at 8:42 pm

Of all the things you want to make a focus of your so called organization… this is your battle? Since when are wreaths on graves a religious symbol?? It’s a greenery placed on the graves of those that gave some or some that gave all!!
If you see this as BAD…. You need to look in the mirror !!! Shame on you !!!

  7. Eric Cifelli December 8, 2021 at 8:46 pm

As a 100% disabled vet I just wanted you to know your organization is a disgusting group and I’ll sure in all my fund raising efforts with the DAV, VFW, and ELKS to tell people to stay away.

Do you not have anything better do or make an non-issue? Try doing something helpful, kind or even supportive of veterans.

You guys are a bunch of liberal communists.Unpatriotic fools who would rather see this country run by the George Floyd’s of the world

Just shut up. Another Liberal group of a few that need attention.

  12. Gloria McBeth December 9, 2021 at 5:41 am

I suggest MRFF do some historical research before jumping off the cliff like a lemming. Wreaths have been used in all types of ceremonies as a sign of celebration and honor by all ethnicities around the world. This group is no better than the Westboro Baptist Church that protested at military funerals. Many veterans interred do not have family members so the wreath laying ceremony is a time to “Remember, Honor, Teach” the sacrifices made by many to protect our Constitution. This is not a “Christmas” tradition, it is a time at the end of the year to give thanks to those who gave so much. Do your research MRFF instead of attacking an organization that gives so many families on opportunity to see their loved one honored once a year.

  13. Karen December 9, 2021 at 6:05 am

Your organization is anti-God, and anti-American. Please move out of the country and take your leftist communist propaganda with you!

  14. Rebecca Saunders December 9, 2021 at 6:22 am

I would never donate to organization again. In the spirit of the season placing a wreath on a grave to show that Americans remember them and respect them. You saying their disgusting, disrespectful. No, you saying just because a person is not of the same religion that they shouldn’t celebrate them. If a family member visiting one of these graves and doesn’t approve, then they can remove it, simple. You Weinstein, are despicable and disgusting

  15. Grey One Talks Sass December 9, 2021 at 7:20 am

Oh wow. Dunning Kruger proved in one comment “ I read about wreaths on veterans cemetery And I almost feel out of my chair. It’s not a religious thing !!! It’s for Christmas”

    So… Christmas isn’t religious? Seriously?

Oh my. I laughed so hard and then I cried because of all the very wrong ideas posted. David Barton and the Christian nationalists have a lot to answer for if We The People survive their attempt to turn Our country into a theocratic hell scape.

  16. Roxanne Warthen December 9, 2021 at 9:10 am

You are morons. My father is buried at Arlington and my mom is to be buried there as well. We have participated and donated to Wreaths Across America and I will continue to do so. We are instructed that some sites are not to have a wreath placed unless the family requests it! How dare you make such an idiotic statement?! Now go get your binkie and blanket and cry in the corner! Let’s Go Brandon!

  17. Amy Thomas December 9, 2021 at 11:25 am

I am disgusted by your actions trying to prevent Wreaths Across America. Why don’t you use positive energy and resources to unite Americans rather than divide them? You speak for yourself, not for the honored active military, veterans, and Americans I know…you stand with few people on this issue. If you don’t like American tradition and values, there are plenty of other countries you can move to.

  18. Bear Wolf December 9, 2021 at 12:15 pm

You dang Idiots. Why don’t You waste Your time and money on a worthy cause?
The Jews killed Jesus!!!!!! Go fund a soup kitchen or shelter for the Veterans.
Leave the wreaths alone, They are not forcing Christianity on Anyone.

  19. Jason December 9, 2021 at 12:54 pm

You should be ashamed of yourselves for this position. This is a way for us to honor our fallen soldiers during the holidays, bringing citizens together. And here you go condemning this beautiful tradition under a claim of BS “wokeness”. I hope you all coal in your stockings for this.

  20. John Doe December 12, 2021 at 1:34 pm

This is the most garbage organization of all time. They even have it in their rules not to place one on Jewish graves. You knocked someone volunteering made a mistake. You are trying to make money attacking Christian faith organizations and soldiers every chance you get. You are a pathetic joke of a group. It is considered a Christmas decoration now. I am a Veteran and you should pray that I never meet a single member of yours.

  21. Darrin C Mclellan December 14, 2021 at 10:20 am

This is what we have become? Complaining about remembering our fallen veterans? Mr Weinstein and his organization can kiss my hairy veteran ass.

  22. cluster December 14, 2021 at 11:47 am

As a Marine Vet who lost 6 friends while in the service I find your actions disgusting. I hope someone someday will lay a wreath on my grave. I guess the President should stop laying wreaths at the tomb of the unknown also.

Those of you who called Mikey Weinstein and MRFF “Communists”, “Liberals”, “Godless” and other less complimentary things should understand that there’s room for controversy in matters of religion — but Veteran’s Cemeteries, National Cemeteries, and other such places should not be such places: they should be places for honoring the sacrifices of ALL those who’ve served this country faithfully, no matter what faith — if any — they personally practiced.

You have the right to call fellow veterans all kinds of hateful things if you wish. But before you do, perhaps you should watch this YouTube video from Atun-Shei Films in which The Witchfinder General of Salem extolls the “War on Christmas” and explains why “Christmas Should be Illegal” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iA0vD2Qgdqk). For those of you who claim that this is a Christian nation and that the Pilgrims came to North America to establish freedom of religion, the Witchfinder General will do you a world of good in dispelling those notions.

Otherwise, you only put your ignorance of religious freedom in America on prominent display for all to see.

One thing is for sure, no one is going to put anything on your graves when you die except maybe a dog turd with a bow on it

Why you want to destroy a Holiday that brings out the best in people and provides a bit of faith in humanity is beyond any of us. Go Fuck Yourself, and try harder. You spend your life destroying things people enjoy, what a shame.

  31. Brandon December 15, 2021 at 8:47 pm

It is only proof that JESUS IS LORD and SAVIOUR and those that are offended need to repent and believe in the Gospel.

John, John, John (if indeed that is your first name) have you read the comments? In this time of holiday spirit?

    Are you freaking kidding me?

Your hypocrisy is showing. You might want that looked at. Seems serious.

  33. Cheryl Weissman December 19, 2021 at 7:55 am

I participated in Wreaths across America yesterday at Arlington Cemetery, and it was a wonderful experience.
It happens that I was the only Jew in my collegial group of 10 or 12 coworkers participating together. When we observed that, try as we might, wreaths we laid at the stones of Jewish vets kept getting removed by ardent volunteers who believed they were doing right to remove them, I explained to some of those self-appointed policing volunteers that there was no reason to excude Jewish veterans from this mark of honor for their patriotism.
As a Jew, I am especially respectful of and impressed by these veterans’ choice to be laid to rest at Arlington, rather than among family members, accessible for visitation by family members, close to their homes.
To me it says that these veterans, like myself, identified themselves as Americans foremost. They were proud of that identity. And since wreaths are to my knowledge (bat mitzvahed in 1963 in a Conservative synagogue) NOT a Christian ritual or decoration, but rather an American one, I felt pained by the continued and pointless struggle to have them honored with their brothers in arms, the fellow Americans beside whom they chose to lie in eternal rest.
When I researched the matter this morning and saw that your organization was apparently the authoritative source informing the decision taken at Arlington Cemetery and Wreaths across America to default to denying wreaths to the Jewish veterans, I felt compelled to write you to express my disagreement with your judgment and disappointment in your activism.
Thank you for hearing my voice.
