Fox News covers MRFF and its adversary, fundamentalist Christian legal organization First Liberty Institute’s lawsuit against the Department of Defense (DoD) on behalf of Christian jewelry company Shields of Strength. In 2019, MRFF successfully got the DoD to follow its own regulations and disallow Shields of Strength’s use of official trademarked DoD emblems on its Bible verse dog tags. Now First Liberty is claiming that the DoD’s regulations are unconstitutional and suing the DoD.
