CBN News covers Shields of Strength’s federal lawsuit against the Department of Defense (DoD) — a lawsuit resulting from a major 2019 victory for MRFF in getting the DoD to follow its own regulations and disallow Christian jewelry company Shields of Strength from using official trademarked DoD emblems on its Bible verse dog tags. Shields of Strength, represented by the fundamentalist Christian legal organization First Liberty Institute, calls the DoD’s regulations prohibiting the use of official trademarked DoD emblems on products that promote religion or political views “unfair Trademark practices by the federal government.”
