25 years ago I wrote a book report on “ATTACK” regarding Rommel. I noted his excellent feel for terrain. His superior ability with small unit tactics. Andrea, You give me the distinct impression that you are neither a service member with a deep and insightful understanding of the warrior ethos and military core values, nor are you an historian who should understand that the true Nazis were the NSDAP (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei) party members, who were highly vetted for their philosophical loyalty to Hitler’s Third Reich (plus adherence to the Nuremberg racial laws) before being awarded the coveted party pin (you may remember that pin figuring prominently toward the end of “Schindler’s List”). The Lion’s share of native German combatants were simply unlucky conscripts or volunteers (including foreign legions) who fought for various reasons related to nationalism or anti-Bolshevism. Your penchant to indiscriminately call anyone who opposes your ignorant and narrow worldview a “white supremacist” is boorish at least, revealing of your education and capacity for learning at best.

The most comprehensive understanding of adversarial tactics, whether dunderheaded tactics or brilliant tactics, comes with an understanding of what philosophical impetuses are often behind those tactics. The initial phases of WW II in Europe cannot be separated from the humiliation of the Versailles Treaty, the economic disaster and class dialectic of the Weimar Republic, the threat of the Soviet Union, and an Austro- Teutonic populist and WW I veteran who promised to make Germany (and old Prussia) great again. Studying and understanding all of this is hardly glorifying the Third Reich, rather it helps us to understand modern autocrats and their impulses — like Trump, Putin, Orbán, and Erdoğan.

Part of my understanding all this is the family history of my spouse and the tragedy of her paternal grandfather, who was a university-educated, middle-class, professional drafted into the war, who was repeatedly promoted for his leadership abilities and ultimately died along with 54 others in his crew. He was not a Nazi, mid-war he was simply assigned to a brand new U-boat (U-540) and though convalescing at the time felt it his duty as a SNCO to try and help keep alive a green crew of inexperienced young sailors. They never sunk a ship, but were simply caught surfaced by RAF bombers and sunk. Such is war, his widow and sons became displaced persons when allied bombers destroyed their small northwestern German town.

This brings me to the offending lithograph of the renowned Luftwaffe fighter pilot and ace — Wolfgang Schenck and his then state-of-the-art jet aircraft. Although the pilot and his fighter skills made him a minor wartime celebrity, there is no evidence he was a “Nazi” party member, nor any evidence he committed war crimes (as many American bomber pilots did in targeting civilian centers of population and related cultural targets (like Dresden) which were distinct from legitimate industrial targets). He was simply a highly decorated officer (albeit an enemy officer) caught up in a world war, who happened to be a superior pilot (and test pilot), whose job and “service before self” at the time was to kill allied pilots bombing Germany, only (unlike my spouse’s grandfather) Schenck lived until 2010 to tell about it. As Freud tells: Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. I might add: Get over it.

My cousin was a 8th AF B-24 pilot shot down by FW-190s and KIA near Hamburg, Germany during March 1944. If anyone should be offended it would be me. But, I’m not!!! As a veteran United States Army Cavalryman who spent several years in Germany, I had the opportunity to come in contact with quite a few German ex-Panzer WWII crewman, in fact, some sought us out whenever they could while we were on field maneuvers(once a tanker, always a tanker). I don’t believe I’ve met a nazi among them, and I was not shy in asking. And we studied their Commanders(Rommel being one of the more prominent) amongst many sources and learned how to battle with armor. A picture of a plane or a tank is just a picture of a plane or a tank. A picture of an advanced war machine with that symbol on it was a reminder to us why we were in the military, what things we needed to be vigilant of, why we were there manning machines meant only to deal death, and how capable any potential adversary could be regardless of(or due to) their insane political asperations. To some of us, the red star is just as evocative. Remove those symbols and you remove an important aspect. The past nor the present can be sanitized, as much as some would love to have it so. If “Remember the Alamo” hadn’t been shouted to the heavens at every opportunity, I guarantee there would have been quite a few people wondering why the hell they were there getting their butts shot off and considering getting back to their farms.

So why do you fail everywhere even today? Let me offer you jigaboos a hypothesis. Let me illustrate this for you by analogy. Technically, an American pit bull terrier and an English golden retriever are exactly the same species. They can produce offspring, if crossbred.

The former was bred to exhibit certain characteristics – wanton aggression, propensity to fight, physical strength, powerful bite, and so on. The latter was bred to retrieve birds shot and killed by its masters, and to do this, it has to have a docile, placid, unaggressive nature; otherwise it would treat what it found as its own kill and refuse to hand it over.

Now imagine that your small children, aged maybe two or three years old, are going to be locked in a room with five or six of those dogs, and the dogs haven’t been fed for a week.

Which breed would you rather lock in there with your children? Hungry pit bulls, or hungry golden retrievers? Or do you figure that, even though they look differently, they’re all the same species really, so of course the pit bulls certainly won’t act any differently?

Whenever blacks achieve a certain critical mass numerically in a pre- existing non-black society, they start to exhibit their natural feral behaviour and to turn their environment back into a recognisably African, essentially Stone Age one. Negro gangs of twenty to fifty individuals assert their rights to “tag” other people’s property through gang violence, but fail to co-operate otherwise.

For instance, a 15- or 20-strong horde of negroes was recently filmed by a security camera inside a London bank they were robbing. Once they had terrified the cashiers into handing over the money, they then fought each other for it, in the middle of the cashier’s hall, like hyenas fighting over an antelope. Having stolen from the bank, they instantly started to steal from each other. The idea of escaping first, then sharing the swag, was just too complex for them to understand, never mind implement.

And so it goes on. You cannot fuse blacks into existing large societies or standalone nations because they are just plain not adapted to it. Within a hundred years, a nation manufactured from convicts in irons had its own autonomous elected government, and barely a hundred years on from then, Australia is now a major economic power in the Pacific. And at no time have they niggerwhined for handouts from the mother country – in fact, if anything, it’s mostly been the other way around.
