I’m not usually so binary but either the USA is a country of laws or it’s not. Glad the suspect was nabbed per the AP blurb I saw. Not sure how I’m feeling that the suspect is still alive.
Just saying, no one gave Tamir Rice a first or second chance and he killed no one. I watched him die. He is with me forever.
And what an amazing thing that the murderer was not a white supremacist as the liberals expected him to be, but he is a fellow Muslim killing other Muslims. Typical Muslim behavior, they kill infidels and each other. Also, all praise to the Israeli Air Force for dispatching from this planet all the top commanders of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, too bad there will not be any 72 virgins in hell where they are going.
There is speculation online that there is a personal issue at the heart of the murders.
Or Law Enforcement went with a suspect of convenience instead of following evidence. I’m not there so I don’t know for sure.
What I do know is the current attitude of law enforcement (based on my personal interactions where I live) is ‘meh’. Tired of the bad press, they’ve tried nothing and are out of ideas as to how they can improve their image.
Thing is, when I started my Mental Health journey I had to face all my faults and bad memories before I graduated that specific class (weekly class + weekly therapy + a lot of homework). It certainly wasn’t easy and just that one subject took over a year to master. The work works.
I suggest remedial mental health classes for all law enforcement so they can start at a common place and then move onto other more individualized subjects. Might end burn out. Most definitely it will result in better community outcomes.
I see that as a win/win.
The details will play out in the media. White Supremacists will toot their horns – see we are that bad! (Narrators voice – yes, you are). Hopefully the families who lost their loved ones will find closure and eventually healing.
