Hello Mr. Weinstein and all of the fighters at the MRFF.
I am the parent of an Air Force Academy cadet. We are a Jewish family and cannot thank all off you enough for all of the work you do every day to prevent Christian religious extremism and especially nationalism from afflicting our service members.
Our daughter just went through the difficult decision to not attend Yom Kippur services at USAFA because it fell on the “Commandant’s Challenge” day this week.
She is doing very well academically and athletically but her military performance rating needed improvement and she was afraid she would suffer there irreparably if she opted to go to Yom Kippur services and not participate in this “Commandant’s Challenge” day.
In making this decision something horrible happened to her.
She was asking a senior USAFA cadet in her chain of command for his advice as to what to do and he told her that the issue was her “being Jewish”. He suggested she at least “make an effort to try Christianity” and invited her to one of their cadet squadron twice-weekly bible studies which he apparently operates with others.
Our daughter was shocked and immediately told him that she had no interest in changing her Jewish faith. The senior cadet told her in reply that she shouldn’t think of it as “converting away from Judaism” but rather that “Christianity is just enlightened Judaism”!
Our daughter was insulted and humiliated beyond description. This is USAFA’s idea of “Spiritual Fitness”?
This person is in her direct chain of command at USAFA so she politely excused herself from the meeting and went back to her room. She called her dad and me shortly thereafter and was more despondent than we’d ever heard her before..
We were naturally enraged. We asked our daughter to call you as we have signed up to be MRFF clients even before our daughter started at USAFA.
She was afraid of causing more trouble if she did so but approved of us contacting you on her behalf to make sure that the MRFF knew what had happened..
We don’t want the MRFF to do anything other than knowing that matters of Christian religious bullying and antisemitism still happen all the time at USAFA.
Telling our daughter that “Christianity is enlightened Judaism” is but one outrageous example. We can only wonder what my grandparents would think of this as they were both Nazi holocaust survivors of the Dachau and Mathausen concentration camps.
Her father and I wanted Mr. Weinstein and the MRFF staffers to know that we so very much appreciate the public stand you all took on behalf of Jewish cadets and their families during this Yom Kippur scheduling mess with USAFA’s “Commandant’s Challenge”.
USAFA’s excuses as to how this happened are pathetic and only serve to further the aims of wrongful Christian proselytizing at the Academy.

The USAF needs to be dissolved. Most of the terrorists during the 2020 Jan.6 terrorist attack where non-federal pigthug cops or in the USAF. The Air Force’s jobs can be split between the Air National Guard or the Navy.
To the parents and to the cadet who was made to feel mortified: There is no justification for a Jewish soul to be put under threat simply because a person made the decision to serve our country at one of our military academies. At the root of this is not malice — small comfort — but gross ignorance and arrogance. As a famous Jew once said: “They know not what they do.”
I write as a former Christian who, through studying Tanakh, came to accept the Noahide principles. I owe the sages of Judaism an immense debt of gratitude. I am one of many hundreds who, in our zeal to learn the real truth of the “Old Testament,” have come to see with clearer eyes. Please be patient with us. A good example who has charted her course from a missionary devoted to converting Jews to a convert to Judaism, I strongly suggest seeking out Shannon Nuszen’s story on YouTube. I am wishing you Chag Sameach for this season of Sukkot. Stay strong.
“There is no justification for a Jewish soul to be put under threat……”
I would modify this a bit to read “there is no justification for ANYONE to be put under threat……!” regardless of claim to a particular faith, particularly in our military. I think your comment is very near-sighted. Zero tolerance! Period! I get that anti semitism is on the rise but education at macro levels takes care of discrimination at all levels if backed by enforcement.
The comment about “choosing” to “serve” at one of our military academies is also short-sighted. They’re lucky to have been accepted into a very private club and fraternal order. They will have careers and lives of privilege relative to the rest of the military!
They get no more credit for “service,” in my books, than any other “chosen” profession. That platitude is so overused. If you’re getting paid for it, you’re not “serving.” It’s your damn job!
Our military is well paid!
The fact that this is still happening in late 2022 is yet more evidence that the military in the US is merely offering platitudes and lies in response to the evidence demonstrating the pervasive, unending discrimination in the devices against non-Christians. Congressional action is long overdue to demonstrate that we still have the rule of law in our country.
Jeff, don’t hold your breath waiting on congressional action! If the Republicans get back in, welcome to Gilead!
MAGA Trumplicans are going to get their coveted theocracy whole Trump and his family steals the treasury blind!;
“Lock him up!
