MRFF Demands Giant Jesus Painting at U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Be Removed; Vice Admiral Swiftly Responds that Painting Will Be Covered Up [With new VIDEO from Mikey Weinstein]
Yesterday, MRFF, acting on a complaint from a group of seventeen alumni, staff, faculty, and midshipmen at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York, sent a demand to the Academy’s superintendent that a gigantic painting of Jesus hovering over a lifeboat be removed from its completely improper and Constitution-violating location in the Academy’s administrative building.
USMMA’s superintendent, Vice Admiral Joanna M. Nunan, promptly responded, thanking MRFF for contacting her about this matter and telling MRFF that she planned to have the painting covered with a curtain, and that no mandatory meetings or Honor Boards would be held in the room until the work was completed.

I wonder if the mural was of Mohammed or Moses parting the Red Sea would Mikey and the MRFF would have reacted as fast? If it was of Mohammed he would probably would act just as fast since he is a puppet of CAIR and wants to remain on their good side.

Have you read our history? We The People have not been tolerant of any deity aside from Christianity. Our cruelty to anyone who thought the New Country meant a home for ‘new’ religions is on display in our art, music, and books. I am glad the painting will be covered although I personally prefer it be painted over but that is not my decision.

It doesn’t matter if any of you like me. What does matter is the Constitution and Bill of Rights which govern the United States of America.
Growing up I watched specific churches deliberately violate the First Amendment, marginalizing and harming entire communities. For them it was always protection but not limitation of the law meaning the were legally wrong but socially acceptable.
Fast forward to here/now. Those specific churches took their End Times Apocalyptic Show mainstream in order to assume control of the country.
I say no. I’ve dedicated myself to the First Amendment – the part where church is on one side of the line and state is on the other. The law must apply to every citizen equally.

You all are missing the point…KP was founded on tradition…This painting is part of the schools history and because seventeen people from the hurt feelings crowd have an axe to grind for the sake of just grinding their axe, tradition and history is going down the drain…This is only the beginning, the United States has lost its moral compass and place in this world, it has become a country of malcontents with nothing better to do than to continuously beat their own drum for their own agenda…God bless the USA, we’re gonna need it!
