I listened to Mike Pence’s comments about the man-baby being indicted. The only thing Pence has ever said that I agree with is, “Pray for the former President and his family.”
Given that the Trumpties pray every time there’s a mass shooting, and given that it seems to result in even more mass shootings, pray for Trump! It will guarantee a conviction!

During a Hillary conversation many years ago while on this site I was actually told by a Nationalist Christian that if Hillary would just confess they’d know how to charge her (I still don’t know how to respond to that level of stupidity).
What the cultists don’t understand (and truly won’t understand because if they did they wouldn’t be a cultist anymore) is if someone on the Democratic side had the amount of evidence facing the former president we’d be calling for their prosecution as to our side (ideally) no one is above the law.
All the cultists have are there what aboutism’ s. Sad really.

It stems from three principle causes:
Ignorance and Overconfidence – this is the most dangerous. It leads to taking risks (Stewart Rhodes comes to mind). But they don’t have the knowledge or skills to manage and deal with the likely disastrous consequences.
Lack of Control – not having self-control means being a victim of events, acting irrationally as a result.
Distraction – this causes the lowest degree of human stupidity. They miss goals due to a lack of focus. Ask Spif above a question and he/she will go off in 20 different directions, incoherent in all of them! Life is a struggle for them. They can’t focus.

Rational people tend to believe stupid people will only harm themselves but they will bring down the whole of society. They are inherently dangerous.
I’ll give one seemingly innocuous example:
My sister, a Trumper and retired teacher, with a master’s degree in education, made a comment about how awesome Ken Ham’s Ark Encounter is, Williamstown KY. It’s his interpretation of Noah’s Ark, all 510 feet of it. Complete with cages for all the animals – to include the baby dinosaurs!!!!
When I asked if she saw the dinosaur cages, she said, “yes, they were awesome!”
She’s my sister and I love her but…..she’s stupid!
The moral of the story is to avoid stupid people. They’ll bring you down with them!

“If Brandon is indicted on any of those bribery charges. what do you think?” Not likely, because the “bribery charges” are based on info provided in 2020 by Giuliani from a source in Ukraine who overheard a conversation between two other people whom no one can find. That info was passed in 2020 to the Trump-appointed federal DA in Delaware who was investigating the Bidens, and is the ONLY Trump appointed federal DA who’s STILL on the job. He apparently found the info not credible at the time, and 3 years later hasn’t found any reason to charge Joe Biden with ANYTHING.

Adjudication of security issues are not as cut and dried as the average MAGAT would like to think it is. Intent is the key adjudicator regarding the holding of classified material in terms of espionage act charges. Beyond that, lifestyle choices and patterns COULD impact decisions to suspend, revoke, or deny a clearance. In other words, are you susceptible to influence because of the potential for compromise as a result of lifestyle choices and decisions? Alcohol and drug use could get a security clearance suspended or revoked. A DUI, domestic violence, who you hang out with, et al. Lying is critical! If you lie on an SF86 (standard form questionnaire for National Security), you will not receive a clearance, could have a clearance revoked, or even be prosecuted.
Yes, there are lifestyle choice questions for a Top Secret security clearance along with a poly exam. Your childhood acquaintances will be questioned, your neighbors, your work mates, et al. And even then, your access to material at the classification level you are cleared for is not automatic, it’s based on “need-to-know.” Today, all security clearance holders are in a “continuous evaluation” program. In the past, it was a ten-year review cycle. Not anymore! Self-reporting is critical in today’s environment. Not self reporting a change such as, marriage, foreign contacts, travel, financial disclosures, a DUI, etc, could be grounds for revocation of a clearance. If you’re required to have a clearance to perform your job, then guess what, you just lost your job! It also applies to contractors working for the Government. It’s serious business! I’ve had to explain why I wanted to travel to Iran, as an example (self inflicted stupidity on my part – naïveté).
The “key” in the comment regarding Biden was the…..”that he didn’t know he had!” Same with Pence. There it is – Intent!
Trump knew what he had and continued to hide what he had, obstructing efforts to secure highly classified documents. Another reason he should never be allowed to be close to classified material. He has incriminated himself on live TV regarding the documents he had, “they were mine!” No they weren’t. They are the property of the originating agency. In other words, the United States Government!
The conflation of the MAGAT’s what-aboutism with Trump’s theft of highly classified documents is beyond the pale and demonstrates a complete lack of knowledge regarding the handling of classified material.
While it’s true that Presidents and members of Congress do not go through the clearance-granting process that all other Government employees and contractors go through, when Trump left the White House, he had NO clearance for ANY classified material and zero need-to-know!
You saw where Marjorie Green went into a SCIF, took notes (any notes are now classified), and then referred to the notes she brought out of the SCIF in a news broadcast – clear security violations!
