I understand the comment about the Israel/Palestinian issues; however, the conflation of a right-wing Government in Israel (my words obviously) and the mission of the MRFF are completely separate and distinct, not even remotely related, the “assumption” being that somehow, because Mikey Weinstein is Jewish, that the MRFF is somehow complicit in (whichever side you’re on), issues related to Israel and Palestine?
And, BTW, you can say anything you want about Israel/Palestine. Just know that it has nothing to do with the MRFF.
The MRFF, as I understand it, is there to uphold the Constitution in regard to religious proselytizing in the military. In doing so, it protects ALL religious beliefs and secures a military more geared toward combat readiness and capability, rather than one focused on a fealty prescribed by members, particularly Commanders, of the military in promoting one religion over another.
The current climate focuses on the Christian right’s efforts to “conscript” military members into their abhorrent Christian Nationalist Army of Christ. And, as it turns out, that same conflation of putrid values is also clearly evident in the MAGA crowd and mandatory fealty to a wannabe dictator (“I am your retribution”) – remember?

The Biden administration successfully secures the ability of Medicare to negotiate drug prices for ten drugs that impact 9 million Americans, many of them from the MAGA crowd! The first effort in a push to allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices for all drugs, much like the VA.
65+ million Americans are on Medicare, a huge number in terms of bargaining power for drug prices. Ask your MAGA representative why Medicare is NOT allowed to negotiate drug prices and you’ll get…….crickets! You’ll get a standard form letter back that completely avoids the question. You know why? Because your representatives make shit loads of money from Big Pharma!
The MAGA right rails on about how Social Security is broken and will go bankrupt, trying to scare you into thinking that “privatization” and increasing the social security age is the answer! Part of Niki Haley’s platform (but she’s dumber than a bag of hammers). The fear mongering is beyond the pale! For the first time in our history, life expectancy is DECREASING in America! It would follow, in a normal universe, that the age for receiving benefits would decrease, rather than increase! Your congressional representatives pay LESS in Social Security (payroll taxes), as a percentage of pay, than someone making $40,000 dollars a year! Why does your Congressman get to pay LESS in social security taxes than you do? Remember when George Bush fell on his face trying to “privatize” Social Security? Ask yourself “why” they want to privatize social security. Why? Because there are HUGE sums of money to be made! The social security trust fund has $2.9 Trillion dollars in it. That’s two thousand nine hundred Billion dollars! If you privatize it and pay 1% for management fees, that’s $290 million dollars per year to manage what’s already being managed! So, for every 1% in management fees, recipients of social security are going to receive $290 million dollars less than they do now! A more realistic number for management fees is 6%, which is $1,740 MILLION dollars per year!
The way to “FIX” social security is to remove the payroll tax cap completely, which means that EVERYONE pays social security on ALL the money they earn. I presented this to my representative (Mo Brooks – like talking to a door knob), and his answer was, “I’ve already paid in more than I’m ever going to get back!” My answer? “I pay for schools and haven’t had kids in school in decades!”
You know why I do it? Because I’m an American!
Regardless of your political stripe, there are things we can fix, together, that affect us all! Let’s band together and fix the things that should be fixed. We can still argue with each other about MAGA and WOKE ideologies, but at least we can do it with the most fundamental problems, that affect us all, fixed!
I enjoy arguing with the MAGA crowd, but I don’t want to see them poor and destitute, without health care, and without a decent life, while we argue!
Let’s do the basics together! And then we can argue about the distractions and noise that come with this football game of My Team verses Your Team! While we’re all in the stands yelling for our Team, we don’t realize that the cost of the ticket has gone up quadruple! At the end of the day, we’re all on the same team! Fuck the politicians! Florida’s White Supremacist Nazis, chubby little white boys, having somehow been dragged out of their mom’s basement (I hear they like MAGA Koolaid & Ron Desantis), and away from their video games, have one common refrain, “JEWS WILL NOT REPLACE US!”
I don’t know of any Jews that are looking for minimum wage jobs! So….what’s all the fuss about being replaced? Jews make up 0.2% of the world’s population and hold 22% of all Nobel prizes, so yeah, I don’t think they’re going to be reaching down to your level anytime soon!
But, someone’s gotta do those jobs (especially now with Republicans wanting to kick out all non-white immigrants)! I don’t think anyone would have a problem with you little Nazis doing those jobs for the rest of your lives! Living with Mom means you don’t need a lot of money. And you’ll inherit the trailer one of these days. So…..no worries.
One caution though, if you ever need an attorney (you will), or a cardiac surgeon, neuro-surgeon, oncologist – you get the picture, better check first to make sure they’re not Jewish! Or, Heaven forbid, non-white! Ought to get yourselves some of those medical wristbands to wear for emergency room visits. You’d hate to find out your unconscious trip to the emergency room was greeted by a Jewish or non-white ER doctor! You know, get one that says, “White Doctors Only.” That ought to do the trick! Kind of like when the Oath Keepers’ leader Stewart Rhodes went to the ER after shooting his own eye out! Damn, we almost got lucky!
Better yet, I’ve got a better idea. Just wear a ‘Do Not Resuscitate” wristband, save us all the time, money, and effort!
And get yourself some shirts that say, “CRETIN” across the front of it.
