Update on Christian Nationalist GOP Rep. Mike Turner’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Amendment to Shut MRFF Down

Christian nationalist Rep. Mike Turner’s blatantly unconstitutional amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to SHUT MRFF DOWN by making it ILLEGAL for members of the military to communicate with or respond to MRFF is now part of the GOP-led House’s version of the NDAA, which was passed by the House on July 14 with Turner’s despicable, vindictive, and unconstitutional amendment still in it.
On July 27, the Senate passed its own version of the NDAA, which does not contain any language regarding MRFF.
When Congress returns from its August recess, a conference committee made up of both House and Senate members will be appointed to reconcile the two bills. THIS IS WHERE TURNER’S AMENDMENT TO SHUT MRFF DOWN MUST BE REMOVED!!!
If Turner’s amendment is allowed to remain in the final, bicameral version of the NDAA, it will obliterate MRFF’s ability to protect and advocate on behalf of our service members facing religious discrimination, harassment, and aggressive proselytizing!

Seems like The Proud Boys were no-shows in Georgia last Thursday! Hmmm, wonder why? I thought they were Trumpers to the core!

Ok, I was wrong, Tariq Aziz, leader of the Proud Kids, only got 22 years.
During the storming of the capital he proudly tweeted, “Make no mistake. We did this!” And then begged for mercy at sentencing after apologizing for his actions and after admitting that his puff daddy, Daffy Donald, lost the election. He had Mommy and little sis there as well to beg for mercy. It’s amazing seeing their MAGA MMA tough guy public persona completely disappear at trial. In public, he was a four-star Commander! What’s up with that? Where’d that MAGA tough guy go? He took off his hat (for trial) and the All Powerful Oz image just disappeared!
A former “prolific cooperator” for federal and local law enforcement, who had assisted the Government in the investigation and prosecution of 12 people, also working undercover to aid investigations – you know, a real Proud Boy! One of Trump’s boyz – “Stand Back and Stand By,” remember? That’s the little prick Trump was talking to! Wonder if he’ll run into any of those he helped put away? Hell, he may even run into Trump!
