MRFF’s Bible Removal Victory From Lexington, KY VA POW/MIA Table Receives Major Media Coverage by NPR & Christian Post
Lexington, Kentucky, NPR station WEKU reports that the executive director of the Kentucky Council of Churches says she’s not upset over the removal of the Bibles from the VA facility POW/MIA tables. The Christian Post covers MRFF’s victory in getting Gideons New Testament Bibles removed from POW/MIA table displays in all Lexington, Kentucky, VA Health Care System facilities. The Young Turks (TYT) “Progress Report” reports on “Christo-Fascism in the Military,” citing MRFF’s story of a military commander who, in retaliation for having to change his uber-Christian Christmas party to a more inclusive event, displayed a picture of Mikey Weinstein on a screen at a unit gathering, calling him an “anti-Christian terrorist,” and telling his unit to lobby for Rep. Mike Turner’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) amendment to shut MRFF down.

Sunlight cleanses everything.
The more the American public knows about how far Christian nationalism has spread throughout our military the more serious they will take the threat. Trust me, they have not a Scooby Doo. Specific humans, you bet, they get it. The general public? No clue.
All We The People have to do to prevent their theocratic coup is vote. We can do that.
This election, we vote blue no matter who. Once we have four more years of democracy we promote candidates who recognize the coming challenges (political, climate, cultural) in time for the next election.
Democracy is like housework. Boring, hard work, never ending, but the rewards are amazing – clean house, cookies in the cookie jar, and bath towels when you need them – to continue with the domestic metaphors.
Our opponents are busy too, they published plan 2025 which is already prepping potential employees who are loyal to the MAGA candidate, not the Constitution of the USA.
Scary times indeed.

I agree, most Americans in the general populous haven’t a clue, particularly with political discourse.
I blame this on the inculcation of Christianity in this country whereby, we’ve been taught that if you want to know what God thinks, let preacher-man tell you.
Much the same as, if you want to know what’s going on in the world, turn on your favored news program and let the commentators tell you what to think. No sense wasting time and electro-neural energy to synthesize on your own when it’s done for you while they sell you a new ford truck or a new anti-psychotic medication to ask your doctor about!
The folks on the MAGA right are too far gone in my opinion, unreachable without a personal significant emotional event. But they are outnumbered! Vote Blue No Matter Who! A good slogan. I may borrow that one!
Reading the conservative Project 2025 plan is genuinely frightening in terms of the future of this country, a blatantly published autocratic and Christianized road map to idiocracy and the dismantling of this country as we know it, leading to the 7th mass extinction. I call it the Cretinacious Extinction.
