I stayed away in case the troll came in and pooped all over my sincere comment but now, don’t care if they come. I’m saying what I’m saying which is my First Amendment right – not approval. As I said, I’m not doing this for approval but because I believe it needs to be said.
To the point.
I wish I was a rich human with more income than I could spend in a lifetime because to me that sounds like a challenge.
I want to be rich because I’d love to be posting that I donated X amount of monies but I can’t. And Mikey knows that. He has told me that he values my defense of this site, a validation I hold dear. So, that said, however each of us can contribute to the site and it’s oh so very important mission, that’s what we need to do.
I don’t know if you’ve been observant (I’m so broke I can’t even pay attention – insert drum riff here) but it’s scary out there. Humans in charge are talking about the unthinkable again – and before one troll tells me I’m being hysterical I say to you Really? and give you my best Cat – I’m judging you look.
Here’s how we combat it. You can’t do anything but you have monies, not a lot, but monies you can donate. Is it enough? Alone, no. But with other monies of like kind, yeah.
We The People aren’t alone. We have each other and no one, NO ONE can take it away. Well, not unless we let them. Let’s not let them.
OK – to clarify – Here’s how we combat it….
I’m physically disabled. Wind blows and I’m in bed because it’s safer for me and the world that way. So volunteer work for me is out. But maybe not for someone else?
