Active Duty Military General, Reacting to Trump’s Plan to Fire “Woke” Generals, writes to MRFF: “Thank you for all that you do to fight for our amazing members”

Gender neutral silhouette of person's head and shoulders

“I am afraid for our service members. Afraid that their proud service will be thrown away because they are transgender, or another member of the LGBTQ+ community, or because they practice a minority faith or non-faith path, or because they are a black man that spoke on the military need for diversity and inclusion. How will we recruit and retain our fighting force of the future if that future is watching these horrors occur? We won’t. Then we’ll wring our hands about why we are not the best in the world. Our adversaries are definitely watching and I’m sure they are comforted by what is about to happen.” — A U.S. Military General currently on active duty

For the active duty General Officer, 71% of all white veterans vote GOP, which has always baffled me given that they are products of an almost completely socialized system! Socialized promotion system, socialized healthcare, socialized housing, socialized compensation system, disability benefits completely unrelated to ability to work. In fact, disabled veterans get priority in hiring for federal jobs and can be appointed without competition, retired officers typically getting the higher civil service positions because their buddies are on the inside and bring them in. One hand washes the other! Military members receive tax deductions on mortgage interest payments from money they received from U.S. taxpayers tax free to begin with (the caveat being that the higher standard deduction has all but eliminated mortgage interest deductions).

But yet, as per their “poor me-ism,” they want protections against the disarray they voted for in terms of the Orange-man threatening to fire General Officers he doesn’t like!

Typically, a General Officer will never talk about “his” benefits or position being eroded. He’ll talk in terms of “the troops,” and their benefits being effected, with full knowledge that those talking points also affect their own interests as recipients of the same, much as this active duty GO did in this note to the MRFF.

I have no sympathy. You created, as leaders, the climate, the environment that supports the way your members vote. It’s your “Command Climate!” The predominant right-leaning membership that now threatens the very leaders that promoted that environment. Awwww, poor Generals! How are they going to live on a General Officer retirement with maximized disability compensation and no one kissing their asses any more?

Now, with their Orange leader threatening to relieve flag officers, they want help again – to protect themselves! It’s a singular issue, it’s centered on what’s good for them personally.

You’re going to hear more from flag officers as we get closer to Jan 20th and probably see a sharp uptick in flag officer retirements!

Yes, there will be disruptions. Is it good for our military to have its leadership politically installed? Emphatically No!

But …. the majority of you and your own members asked for it! So remember that as you exit your leadership space! It’s a “be careful what you ask for” moment!

What I’m hearing this GO say is, “thank you MRFF for doing what I, as a leader, should have been doing!”

Would I expect a GO to display integrity in supporting, in the work place, the Constitutional separation of church and state? A very few might. But most are focused on their own careers, so, no, I wouldn’t expect it.

    The dripping irony is palpable!

Y’all caught the car! Watcha gonna do with it!

Letter writer suggests our adversaries are comforted by what is about to happen? How about they orchestrated it?

It is amusing to me all the freaked out reactions from humans who voted for the MAGA ticket believing MAGAverse would include them only to find out the party of face eating leopards ate their face too!!!

I have some compassion as it wasn’t pleasant for me when I emerged from the cult I was in to discover reality was quite different than what I’d been told when inside. That said, so many humans tried to give warning only to be told they didn’t know what they were talking about. Even here our troll told us that Project 2025 was not real – only to be informed of the error of their ways. Apparently they don’t know Matt Walsh, Charlie Kirk, & Lance Wallnau (to name a few) nor watched any of their podcasts.

Here’s my thought – perhaps those who have the ability and power in the military to mitigate the damages proposed by the incoming admin should do something?

I mean, for decades the MRFF has done the heavy lifting, and have been fine with providing cover to ensure blowback on those who support the Constitution is minimal. But these are not normal circumstances. If We The People who resist authoritarianism and fascists are putting ourselves on the line for our home, perhaps more should be expected from those who have enjoyed privilege and power but said nothing when challenges came their way.

Either it’s all hands on deck or we roll over and submit to the authoritarians who just took power. Not fond of binary decisions but sometimes a thing is black or white, there is no room for grey.

I’m fighting in every way I can, even if it’s to remove a paperclip from a fascists desk. Halfpenny nails people, halfpenny nails.

I agreed with everything you said Synergy considering the fact that these same generals when they go into the corporate world fight against giving their workers decent wages, free/affordable healthcare, a decent pension, the right to belong to a union, affordable housing and education, hire legal and illegal immigrants to replace the American workers and then complain about the lack of moral standards in America when they play their part in contributing to it and blame unions and left wing groups for cause it to happen.

Go woke go broke. Proven time and time again.

  5. Gunther November 17, 2024 at 6:49 am

No Oscar, go Republican/conservative, you go broke. And that has been proven time and time and time again. Every time, a Republican is in the White House, we get an economic recession.

  6. Oscar November 17, 2024 at 7:35 am

Lol thats why AOC took off her pronouns from X. Because woke is really winning lol

  7. Tom O November 17, 2024 at 8:30 am

Is Oscar going to deny that in the last 100 years the economy has ALWAYS done better under Democrats? Or is that too big a denial of reality even in MAGA world? And how are AOC’s pronouns relevant to that?

  8. Synergy November 17, 2024 at 8:49 am

MAGA votes for elites to …. wait for it …. repudiate the elites!

Co-President Elon Musk said publicly there were going to be ‘temporary hardships!” Did he mean for him? Or for you? Wants to cut $2 Trillion out of the budget immediately to forge his new austerity for the American people. I’m guessing them South Africans think a little differently.

Hmmmm, since the discretionary portion of the budget is less than $2 Trillion, um, well, er, uh, hmmmm…. Fuck me! Someone help me out here, got lost on that sleight-of-hand maneuver! The rest of the budget is called “mandatory.” Meaning, last time I checked, by law? In other words, mandatory! Maybe he’s confusing Man and Tory. Let’s ask Oscar Meyer. I’m sure he’s got it figured out!

So in MAGA Land, we raise Government revenue by …. cutting Government revenue! Excepting, of course, the Republican tax he’s going to immediately raise from consumers through his massive tariffs plan. Not to mention immediate retaliatory trade wars and all those subsidies to industries affected, like farmers. “Let’s destabilize the entire world economy! Yeah, that’ll do it!” China put tariffs on grain products from the U.S. and moved to Brazil and Argentina for their corn and soy, et al. in retaliation for Trump’s steel and aluminum tariffs last go round. Brazil and Argentina are happy to have Chinese business.

Let’s not forget the back door for Chinese products through Mexico, avoiding tariffs altogether, billions of U.S. dollars from China flowing into Mexico to support its back door tariff avoidance! Component pieces shipped to Mexico, assembled into a completed product, and shipped to the U.S. duty free through Trump’s own USMCA replacement of NAFTA.

No wonder Trump University is no longer around.

I’m expecting a surge in plastic surgery to get those MAGA noses put back on!

But, you know, austerity is good for the American people. Just ask Elon! He’s rich! He got that way with your tax dollars from all them government contracts! And he’s going to get a whole lot more! Ask Elon how much he makes from all those Tesla products he imports from Mexico duty free. Surely Trump won’t dis his co-President.

MAGA dawgs sunk their teeth into the tire of a moving car. What’s that sound? Sounds like a dog hitting the road every time the wheel comes around! Damn that’s gotta hurt!

    “You just can’t fix stupid!”

Get ready MAGA. What goes around comes around! All on you now! You own it! 100% yours! Tired of winning yet? Lol. MAGA tears a little salty?

  9. Tom O November 17, 2024 at 9:14 am

What Tesla products are imported from Mexico?

  10. Synergy November 17, 2024 at 12:56 pm

Old news Tom, “On February 28, 2023, Tesla’s president, Elon Musk, and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced that they had reached an agreement on the construction of a “gigafactory” for electric vehicle (EV) production valued at $1 billion at the outset, which could increase to $10 billion over time. The factory is to be built in the Santa Catarina suburb of Monterrey in Nuevo León, less than 140 miles from the border with the United States.[1] Mexican government officials suggested that the plant could produce a million vehicles a year, including Tesla’s Semi truck, Roadster and sports utility vehicles….. [many to be exported to the US].

Latest news: “ As of July 2024, Tesla has placed construction of Gigafactory Mexico on hold until after the 2024 United States presidential election, because former President Trump has pledged to add tariffs on cars made in Mexico.”

Feb 2024, “Tesla already buys Chinese-owned Mexican-made parts for vehicles assembled at its “gigafactory” in Austin, Texas, as do other automakers in the U.S., where imports of such parts increased 15% last year to reach US $1.1 billion, according to Mexican auto-parts industry association INA.”

“Car exports experienced a 15.1% increase last year, reaching 3.3 million units, with 85% of total exports shipped to North America. Of these, 2.55 million cars were exported to the US, 264,885 to Canada, and 164,032 units to Germany.26 Feb 2024”

Course, Mexico’s leadership has also changed, but very receptive to a Tesla Giga factory in Monterrey.

Be interesting to see what Elon gets out of the deal. Will Elon get preferential treatment? Especially for EVs, which Trump hates.

The bigger point I was trying to make is that tariffs can be skirted (laundered if you will), which means the Trump plan to rake in billions from China (not how tariffs work), are a catastrophe waiting to happen. Nothing but a tax on the American people.

Companies will go where they can maximize profit while minimizing cost, regardless of who’s in the White House.

Would like to hear Oscar’s take on it.

  11. Synergy November 18, 2024 at 4:11 pm

The dripping irony! From the non-MAGA Muslim crowd. They formed a coalition calling themselves the “uncommitted,” spread across Michigan and Pennsylvania, in significant numbers, to try to help their Palestinian brothers and sisters, given the ongoing carnage in Gaza, and …. Voted Trump!

And are now begging Biden to do something before he leaves office to protect his legacy?

So lemme get this straight. You voted against me (by way of a referendum on Kamal Harris), and now you want me to help protect you from the guy you voted for?

Is this a “make the bad man go away” thing?

Not to mention you elected a government in Gaza, led by HAMAS, funded no less by Netanyahu himself to split the power base of the Palestinian people, I dunno, thinking your slingshots had magical powers against Merkava tanks?

I’ve had a few what-the-actual-fuck-was-I-thinking moments in my own journey through life but really, what the literal fuck were you all thinking?

So, is that like giving your kid a pet alligator for Christmas? “Now, be careful when you feed it son, and don’t let him get near the pitbull I got you last year!”

I don’t like Kamala because she won’t speak out against Israel, during a Presidential election, and throw away the support of one of the most powerful lobbies in this country! Is that what you were thinking. Or, “I’m gonna vote for the other guy just to piss her off?” Maybe it was to make sure my people in the West Bank and Gaza don’t get any help?

I’m at a loss! Maybe a few left alive can get a membership in the new Trump resort on the beach in Gaza?

The outcome wasn’t dependent on Muslim Americans to be clear, but the level of hallucinogenics y’all are on is way beyond recreational.

And you’re letting a Shia theocracy in Iran propagandize their control over Sunni Palestinians into fighting a proxy war with Israel – using fucking slingshots!

I just left London where I spoke to several Iranians. They tell me their folks back home (Tehran), WANT Trump to attack Iran! They WANT the United States to go to war with Iran! You know why? To get rid of their fucking government! They’re sick of what their parents and grand parents asked for in 1979! The then new government in 1979 said, “give us 10 years. We’ll create an Islamic utopia.” That 10 years went by. They reiterated, “give us another 10 years, we’ll create an Islamic (Shia) utopia.” Nothing, crickets. Ok, to be fair, Tehran now has a subway and they’ve learned how to make a few drones and missiles (reverse engineered), but the young generations today in Iran want something other than the 12th Imam (who’s still on vacation it seems). Young folks in Iran know it’s bullshit. But they can’t do anything about it – the government has too much control!

Speaking of control, let’s see what happens in the good ole US of A!

It may be too late in terms of Gaza and the West Bank and the future of the Palestinian people, but y’all did yourselves no favors in terms of voting for the Orange Man. Don’t believe me? Ask Mike Huckabee, our new envoy to Israel!

Just like I say to the MAGA crowd, several in my own family, “be careful what you ask for! You just might get it!”

I wonder sometimes how the fuck Homo Sapiens made it this far! Maybe we killed off the other human species we coexisted with and are just waiting for our own light to go out! It’s a race – to the bottom!

    Just shaking my head.

  12. Oscar November 18, 2024 at 9:12 pm

Lol do you guys ever win?

  13. Oscar November 19, 2024 at 10:35 am

Pretty lame of Brandon to authorize long range weapons from US in Ukraine. very reckless. Pretty much one way ticket to turn Ukraine into Hiroshima. Another great job by Brandon.

  14. Jeff November 19, 2024 at 5:23 pm

Oscar: you Russians ain’t very bright are you? The fallout from any nuclear strike in Ukraine will be all over western Russia. Dasvidaniya.

  15. Tom O November 19, 2024 at 5:32 pm

Oscar wants to “turn Ukraine into” part of Russia, just like he wants to help Trump turn the US into another Russia.
In 1937 Oscar would have been saying “Don’t help China fight Japan. Japan might attack us.”
In 1939 Oscar would have been saying “Don’t help Poland fight Germany. Germany might attack us.”
In 1940 Oscar would have been saying “Don’t help Engand fight Germany. Germany might attack us.”
Unfortunately, we listened to people like him then: where did that get us?

  16. Synergy November 20, 2024 at 8:14 am

So … Moscow Oscar Meyer thinks Putin will use nuclear weapons on Ukraine? Without repercussion?

Even tactical nukes, today, have a much higher yield than the 16 kiloton nuke dropped on Hiroshima, killing 160,000.

MAGA leader Putin, fortunately, is not as stupid as his MAGA supporters!

Trump, on the other hand, in true MAGA form, wants to use a few on those nasty hurricanes! Especially the ones sharpie projected into Alabama! That’ll show ‘em!

You know, “Make Christianity Great Again!”

Course, I think Ukraine still has a few nukes left over from the old Soviet days! Along with folks that know what to do with them! Hmmmm.

  17. Gunther November 20, 2024 at 9:59 am

When it comes to running the government and the economy, Oscar, you guys never win.

Oscar if the Russians hadn’t stopped that nuclear fallout at Chernobyl, the world would have become Hiroshima. The same thing for us at Three Mile Island.

Oscar, you now companies wanting nuclear power back to meet their energy needs for their AI and ccryptocurrencies but there has no been improvement in the safety risks for the nuclear plants:

  18. Black Robed Patriot November 20, 2024 at 1:07 pm

Fire the entire joint chiefs, especially that race baiter CQ. Kick all transgenders and drag queens out of the military. Remove DEI and CRT from the military and academies and train our soldiers to fight and kill again.

  19. Gunther November 20, 2024 at 4:45 pm

Black Robert Patriot, if you fire enough people from the military, you will not have enough troops to fight the next war and then you will be complaining about people not wanting to fight for their country when they have no reason to fight for it.

  20. Tom O November 20, 2024 at 5:22 pm

When did we supposedly cease to “train our soldiers to fight and kill.”

  21. Tom O November 21, 2024 at 7:28 pm

BRP is also ignoring the fact that in a modern army only about 1 in 5 people actually operate a weapon: it takes 4 support people for each one of them.

  22. Gunther November 22, 2024 at 9:55 am

In World War 2, the German Army had tried to keep the number of people in the rear down so they could have more men in the front lines, but the American Army never could do it.

  23. Oscar November 26, 2024 at 3:23 pm

Gunther when you enable a young generation to think a woman can be a man and vice versa, youve already lost a strong military future. One more year of leftist policy and our new military uniforms would probably be dresses on neck bearded men taking estrogen shots

  24. Gunther November 26, 2024 at 3:51 pm

Oscar, you still haven’t offer any proof of what you are saying has actually creates a weaker military.

  25. Tom O November 27, 2024 at 3:40 pm

PROOF!!??? Can Oscar even explain how merely believing “a woman can be a man and vice versa” supposedly destroys that believer’s ability to be an effective soldier?
