All those who don’t will be jettisoned.”

Just a matter of time before you assholes get shut down under this admin. Dont worry, ill make sure to put a wreath on the doorstep once your office is empty.
JohnQPublic: we know you get paid by Putin to spew nonsense like that. If you knew anything about the USA and its laws you’d know the incoming administration has no legal basis to shut down the MRFF. You need to stop interfering in our domestic affairs and start concerning yourself with the dictator in your own country.
“The incoming administration has no legal basis to shut down the MRFF.” True, but the incoming administration has already shown us their attitude about laws.
That is where you are wrong. MRFF is nonprofit engaging in very partisan political activity. That shit may have flown under the last administration, but itll be caught on to soon enough under this one. Then they will lose their non prof status. Imagine that.
The MRFF isn’t violating tax laws. You again show your ignorance of US laws. The organization has a right to criticize ideas and policies promoted by anyone. Dasvidaniya.
How is helping resist government attempts to violate the constitution by pushing one religion on people who don’t want it “very partisan political activity?”
Thanks for showing us that one political party supports those violations of the constitution.
JQP doesn’t have “ignorance of US laws.” He just lies about MRFF’s activities. Can JQP give even ONE example of a MRFF action that could be considered “very partisan political activity”?
Who knew defending the Constitution and Bill of Rights is a ‘partisan’ activity?
There is a bill up for vote today HR 9495.
From the ACLU “…Stop Terror-Financing and Tax Penalties on American Hostages Act, a bill that would give the incoming Trump administration new power to muzzle, punish, and effectively shut down tax-exempt organizations without transparency or appropriate due process. This misguided piece of legislation would impact a wide range of tax-exempt organizations, including nonprofits, universities, and even news outlets.”
The bill has the correct propaganda title “Stop Terrorism”. but the law is written to encourage it. I’m hoping the Resistance Legal Team is on this one. I’m hoping it doesn’t pass the House.
After most of my fellow citizens decided that hate was great, well, I have no faith in those manning our institutions. The institution in and of itself? Needs some work to ensure those who operate the machinery know what they are doing, some tweaks to make it more efficient in rewarding all those who violate our laws receive consequences but yeah, it’s a keeper.
“I think the first thing is that Trump wants to establish, and this I’m sure would be completely controlled by Hegseth, Warrior Boards, former officers, retired senior officers who will decide which goal and admirals follow the MAGA agenda, the Christian Nationalist agenda, strongly enough to remain in their positions. All those who don’t will be jettisoned”
you cant make or endorse poly statements while being a non profit. it is a complete biased political propaganda.
What’s a “poly statement”? What political party or candidate for elected office has MRFF ever supporte or opposed?
I’m curious Oscar,
What do you think will be achieved with the new leadership picks in the military after the purge?
I assume the thought is it will be better than what we have now?
What, exactly, is the MAGA and Christian Nationalist agenda for the military? What do you think it is? What do you hope it is?
Lastly, have you ever served in the military?
Gee, Oscar, if Trump purges the military and even executes some of the generals and other military personnel after a “fair” trial, doesn’t that makeTrump no different than Hitler or Stalin when they did the same thing to their generals?
Oscar crickets doesn’t have an opinion? MAGA cat got your tongue? Or do you have it shoved up the Orange Man’s ass too far to say anything? A little busy right now “wallowing!”
MAGA – watching the tears flow would be funny if it wasn’t applicable to all.
Made America Gullible Again – just one more time!
Greg Sawblade Abbott already offering up thousands of acres of land for mass deportation facilities. Wonder if his wife, the first Hispanic first-lady of Texas will get a special suite being the granddaughter of Mexican immigrants.
Those MAGA Trump flags going up in price with Trump’s new China tariffs. Walmart already complaining about higher prices for consumers, people compiling pre-tariff lists of shit to buy before Jan 20th.
An alcoholic has to hit rock bottom before they’ll accept an intervention. Let’s see what MAGA rock bottom is before the MAGA tears flow!
I’m thinking the Orange Man can’t really be that stupid. Can he? He has to have people around him that will put the hold on campaign rhetoric. Someone to say, “now Donnie, we have to stay away from the hot stove ‘cause it will burn your hand! Here’s a fireman hat, let’s see how you look in it,” and off he goes, distracted like a toddler.
MAGA tears – the name of their new river!
“What do you mean grandma can’t stay in the care home because there’s no more Medicaid? I thought tariffs were going to pay for it! She can’t stay with me!”
Let the wailing begin!
HR 9495 passed the house and moves to the Senate where it hopefully dies on the floor.
As I read the Oscars of the interwebz their synchronized gloating is palpable. Words thrown about with no actual meaning except to cause panic and despair. But their synchronicity reminds me of a thing I read long ago in A Wrinkle in Time; the brain which controls all things which surrender to it. They too spoke in unison. Creepy and weird.
As already noted by my fellow commentators and not contested with anything resembling facts, the MRFF defends the Constitution. Nothing more to say as either one defends it or they don’t.
The Oscars of the world want to burn it all down, the opposite of defending. I’ve said before some things are grey and some things are black and white. I’ll leave it to the reader to decide which side they choose.
By the by, the resistance is alive and well. In the spirit of the Halfpenny Nail, many small actions add up. Hopefully the president-elect’s admin will continue to trip over itself, limiting their ability to unleash harm to Americans.
The resistance is definitely not alive and well.
Oscar, you may want to rethink your position on all of this. Think for just a moment about how you’d feel if the boot was on the other hand. If your commander wanted to insist that good Christians had to attend prayer sessions at the commander’s favorite mosque, would you feel offended? If your commander made it known — even indirectly — that failure to comply could result in evaluations that would essentially end your career, would you be OK with that?
During my Air Force career, I wasn’t explicitly religious. But I wasn’t willing to let my Squadron, Group or Wing Commander interfere with my career because I didn’t follow their religion. Neither me nor my active duty wife were willing to tolerate such impositions. I wouldn’t have stood for it if any of my subordinates had been subjected to such undue influence, either.
MRFF exists to advocate for soldiers, sailors, Airmen and Marines, regardless of rank, who need legal assistance in such cases. And the UCMJ respects the Constitution’s allowance for someone subject to adverse action to enjoy legal representation of the individual’s choice.
So be careful what you ask for. When there’s a boot on your hand, keeping you from calling for legal representation of your choice, it may be too late to change your position. MRFF defends the Constitutionally guaranteed right to practice the religion of YOUR choice and not to be FORCED to comply with the religion of someone higher up in your chain of command.
You keep telling yourself whatever gets you through the night Oscar. Reality has a nasty habit of sneaking up on those who choose to stay in a bubble. Well it does if you are human which I’m not entirely convinced you are, Oscar.
J.P. I have zero problem advocating for the constitutional rights that you specify… and I might even have been a supporter and advocate for your cause, but all MRFF and its cohorts do is bash Christianity and the Republican party in the process. There is no secret plan or plot by what you call “Christian Nationalists” its all Rachel Maddow type sensationalist bullshit and Its sick.
“all MRFF and its cohorts do is bash Christianity and the Republican party in the process.” When did MRFF ever “bash Christianity”?
“There is no secret plan or plot by what you call “Christian Nationalists.” It’s not secret: the theocrats proudly tell us how they plan to take control of everything.
Which party supports that?
What you said, Tom O !
When CHRISTIANS reach out to MRFF to bring a commander in line with what the Constitution, Federal law, and DoD Instructions require them to do — that is, to not show favor to any religion or religious group — then you can be sure MRFF is NOT “Christian bashing”.
Oscar is so close to discovering the truth, that the only reason the MRFF goes after so many Nat C’s is because they are the ones breaking the rules.
But nope, can’t be… harumph harumph. Must be persecution.
Oscar, mental health assistance is available online. Maybe want to talk to someone about your persecution complex?
We care Oscar, we really do.
Keep it up Grey One, as you contribute nothing to society you somehow have developed a superiority complex. How does that even happen?
What is your education level btw?
Well, Oscar, even a highly educated person like you can be stupid and dumb.
“Never confuse education with intelligence, you can have a PhD and still be an idiot.”
― Richard P. Feynman
I actually dont like talking shit to GreyOne… it makes me feel bad every time…. but then I remember her distain for Christianity and people with opposing views and I get over it instantly.
*disdain. apologies
American Christianity is to cult what magical thinking is to science.
Next time you need a doctor – just pray! That’ll do it!
I don’t have disdain for Christians. My mom is a Christian. Millions upon millions of humans live their lives as their Lord and Savior commands, following the rules.
What I do despise is a human who joins the service, takes the vow to defend the Constitution from enemies foreign or domestic and then proceeds to proselytize to everyone in their sight. Apparently I get testy when oaths are violated.
I know this is hard for you to understand Oscar but it’s not Christianity in and of itself. It’s the anti-America idea that it’s ok to force one’s religion on to others. And since that’s exactly what you promote, yeah, I have an issue with you too.
Here’s a clue, if you feel bad about an action but continue to do it despite your feelings, you are not on the correct side of the debate. WWJD? LOL, not what you’re doing now.
Jesus was a woke libtard, as any MAGA fake christian will tell you.
I think you’re off a bit Tom O. Haven’t you seen that MAGA version of Jesus returning on a “white” winged horse with an AR-15 around his neck?
“Save the MAGATS!” From themselves! Too funny!
Oscar, you and your fellow Christians and conservatives don’t and haven’t care for opposing viewpoints in the last 45 years and now are openly displaying them without any fear of being held accountable for them.
I was referring to the Jesus in the bible, not MAGAts’ twisted image of him.
As I’ve said in another reply, let the MAGATs have their Christian military! Kick everyone else out!
Be a good test for the MAGATized installation of so-called “non-woke” Combatant Commanders!
All of them Paul Bremmer clones – you know, the guy that gave Iraq to the Iranians!
Spectacle followed by debacle! LMAO! “USA, USA, USA! – ‘Merika!”
Too fucking funny!
“Real men wear diapers!”
Yeah, let the Christians have their military so when there is a war, they can’t complain about the rest of us not joining up since we have no incentive to do so. It is amazing how certain groups don’t want other groups to be in the military; yet, they then complain about these same groups not joining up to serve the country whether in peacetime or wartime.
If they have their military, then I shouldn’t pay any state or federal tax to fund the Christian military at the state or federal level.
Too right Gunther! Onward Christian soldiers! “But Sir, I prayed real hard, the enemy just keeps coming!”
Kicked our ass in Afghanistan and they were wearing dresses and shower shoes!
Christianize the military! I’m all in! Get rid of public education! Give that money to home-schooled Christian kids! You know, the earth is 6000 years old and … flat! You know, men have one less rib than women, it’s well known, just read the Bible!
Make English the official language, no more code-talkers!
No more contraception, keep them barefoot and pregnant! A woman’s place is in the kitchen, she is to keep silent! She should accept her loving God’s commandments. And that of her husband.
Only admin jobs for military women!
And don’t forget black people! They shouldn’t be aviators, according to MAGA. Well, except for the Tuskegee airmen!
Let’s just rename it, “MAGA Military!” Christian to the core!
Put a cross on ALL military uniforms, “In God We Trust” where their branch label goes.
Give them free housing, free healthcare for life, free uniforms, free training, disability compensation as a standard, free food, free college, even for their kids, boarding priority on all flights, free upgrades to first class, priority hiring after military service, oh, wait a minute, we’re already doing that!
Make prayer mandatory before and after all military formations, before and after every battle. You know, show God who’s side were on! He doesn’t know unless you tell him! Make them pray loud, God’s a little older now, hearing ain’t so good!
Obliterate GAZA and put a Trump resort right on the beach! With a swimming pool in the shape of a cross, you know, show God we worship him and love him – he’s watching!
“Make the Military Christian Again!”
Well, Synergy, if Christians think that God is on their side, then let’s get rid of all their firearms, planes, tanks, ships, etc., and let God protect them.
Only admin jobs for military women?
Well since Christians believe that a woman’s place is in the home, then we shouldn’t have women in those jobs let alone have them in the military and replace them with male company clerks like Corporal Radar O’Reilly and male medics/corpsmen/nurses like Corporal Max Klinger.
Got also our butts kick in Korea and Vietnam by atheists Marxists who wore black pajamas and “Ho Chi Minh sandals.” or wore “Mao suits.”
Just so you know, atheists and marxists are not conflatable, unless you’re a MAGAT of course.
We got our butts kicked by atheists? Well Goddamn, who’s side is the creator on?
Guessing they need to pray more?
Conservatives believed that anything that is non-religious and non-capitalist/non-conservative is conflatable.
