I am sickened by the rhetoric coming from the Trump camp. But that’s the point, correct? I mean why else rile up a population you supposedly intend to govern?

I guess if I planned on taking over a country this is exactly what I’d do – tell the populace what I intend to do and once in power do it. Decisively. Quickly, to make my point. Fight not only this battle but all the battles to come. And that’s how you quell a rebellious population with the minimum of effort.

The Authoritarians are counting on the American People to do the work.

Here’s a radical idea. No.

Those who have the presidency now did all this because they believe a two thousand year prophecy which said they’d be ruling the earth when their deity returns? Yes.

What to do now? I’m not military although I was trained by an old Marine. He said when faced with an entity determined to destroy that which is yours all rules are off the table. Authoritarians in the media the past few days have been as unhinged as one would expect – and here’s the kicker – they are only the fluffers of the scene, checking to see what the American public will or will not tolerate.

I can’t tell you what to do – WE are Americans, contrary to the last and I’d have it no other way.

That said what am I doing? I’m standing (well sitting) firm and speaking truth even though my voice shakes. I’m pointing out the things others miss, challenging nonsense when it’s dropped in my lap (so to speak).

There’s a clip out by Maddow recapping the election and where to go from here. Lots of words but what stuck in my brain is the absolute glee when she announced that We get to be Pirates nOw!!!!!!!

I’m so doing that – I’ll resist as I can. You resist as you feel best for you. And together We The People will stop the atrocities.
