Revisionist history used to be the thing you did as a MAGAT.
Now, it’s full on fascistic erasing of history in favor of those that “shake the jar.” The all-white Christian Nationalist Team.
If you collect 100 black ants and 100 red ants and put them in a jar, nothing will happen.
But if you shake the jar violently and put it back down on the table, the ants will start killing each other.
Red believes black is the enemy. Black believes red is the enemy. The real enemy is the person that shook the jar.
The same is true in society: men verses women, black verses white, faith verses science, young verses old.
Before we fight each other, we must ask ourselves, “who shook the jar?” Mark Twain.

Bright spot – Crawford won her race for Wisconsin Supreme Court. Her opponent conceded already and even chastised a fan who accused the other side of cheating No, we lost he said. Wow. I might even begin to believe in miracles again.
Lots of Dark Ages stuff – It’s scary how we all “know” how tyrants take over nations, there are so many examples in history and yet, humanity finds itself at this point time and again.
I have a lot of time to think as my current health issue has left me flatter than I’d like – Radical Acceptance, a skill I’m working on. Having issues with the concept of accepting reality and at peace with it. Not approving mind you but at peace. Yeah, that’s what I said.
Anyway, I firmly believe that democracy is the worst form of government except for all the rest humanity has already tried. And, stick with me here, I’m beginning to think that the issue doesn’t lie with the tool but with the wielder of said tool.
You can’t legislate compassion, empathy, love.
Legislation by it’s nature is about control, about how WeThePeople act in public with myriads of other publics who don’t look, act, walk, talk, smell, like anyone else except for their own flock/tribe/family/kettle. Without guidelines how do we keep from killing each other except by adopting a code or practice of how to behave with others?
I don’t know. I’ve been cooped up facing all kinds of waves from DOGE’s willful destruction of our systems and agencies. I’m being kicked off several assistance programs because of funding cuts. I can’t tell you the warm feeling I have knowing a billionaire will not have to pay taxes as I return to calories not nutrition. No really, lack of nutrition makes me cold all while I gain an inordinate amount of weight. spiffy You’d think with all the fluffy I’d be toasty but apparently one must have blood flow for warmth to occur and fluffy is the anti-flow.
Anyway, I do wonder if these folks who are bending the knee in advance are taking down the men’s displays too, or are we just not pretending anymore?
Whole purpose of Project 2025 is/was to take over government, straight out of Putin’s playbook, Hitler’s Nazis, and it’s taking place right before your eyes.
As I’ve said before, you’ll be OK MAGA, as long as you don’t complain. In other words, as long as you keep your mouth shut!
Howard Nutlick, Trump’s commerce Secretary, got on Faux Entertainment and said the quiet part out loud. He talked about his mother, a social security recipient, not complaining if she didn’t receive her social security check. Course, Nutlick is a multi-billionaire.
His message is clear, “don’t complain when we cut off your social security!” It’s not a question of “If,” but “when.”
So, for all the MAGATs that drank the Koolaid, it’s going to be OK as long as you keep your mouth shut!
Trumptie working to take over the courts, shaking down law firms, many bending the knee of fealty, stifling media – many have already paid millions to avoid Trumptie’s retribution in cases they clearly would have one; however, it’s a win the battle and lose the war kind of thing so, they kneeled.
As an ESL Mexican might say, “We tried to told you!”
The saving grace is that they are tripping all over their own incompetence, Trumptie’s right hand not knowing what his left hand is doing, self-isolating the United States against former friends and allies to build his Humptie Trumptie Kingdom right here at home.
The good news is that it ain’t gonna work. Patriots in this country are shaking the jar, they’ll kill each other, figuratively, power their myopathy that fuels their paranoia and causes them to flail as they follow Dear Leader, idiocracy their calling card, incompetence their fuel.
Q1 GDP estimates just revised downward to -3.7 percent, an 8 point drop since Trumptie took office. Stagflation coming to a town near you. Inflation going up, unemployment going up, growth going down.
But as Trumptie’s talking heads will tell you, “tariffs are tax CUTS!” George Orwell’s Doublespeak their fluency.
Remember MAGA, when you regurgitate, you get a second taste! “It’s going to be so good! That war will be over before I get into office. Prices are going to come down quick on day 1.”
