MRFF applauds these Christian leaders for taking a stand against the MAGA Christian nationalists!!! Read the Axios Exclusive: “Christian leaders blast Trump’s ‘anti-Christian bias’ unit”

Death by a thousand paper cuts is still death. The coming together of Christian leaders, and in using the word Christian I mean those who listened to the lessons Jesus taught, internalized them, and lived their lives as their Lord and Savior taught them to do.

Nationalist Christians weaponize the faith Christianity, turn it on it’s head and call it the prosperity gospel even though Christ himself tells his followers to rid themselves of worldly goods in order for them to follow his ways.

So, definitions introduced, everyone have a drink? Napkin? Somewhere to sit? Excellent.

I’m going to slightly highjack this post. I’m doing so because things are worse than this article lets on.

First – the EO has come down – don’t remember the number, there have been so many, but it’s intent is to shift the National Guard and Military into domestic “peace” keeping duties. Lots and lots of memes in the people I follow with the GI rights number.

Second – Today the FOTUS signed a new EO establishing a presidential commission on religious liberty. This is in addition to the snitch line they set up to report bias against Christians.

The FOTUS said during a National Day of Praver event in the Rose Garden “They say separation between church and state – I said, all right, let’s forget about that for one time.”

There is more and it gets even more unhinged. I’m sure all the sites who are covering the current coup will bring it up.

If you have been waiting to get off the bench this is your wake up call.

The president of the freaking United States said of our First Amendment really did say “They said, really there’s separation. I don’t know. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I’m not sure, but whether there’s separation or not, you guys are in the White House where you should be, and you’re representing our country, and we’re bringing religion back to our country, and it’s a big deal.”

Obviously the President of the USA has never met the country he purports to lead. If he had he would have discovered there are more Christian churches than bars in most of rural America. He’d have learned in some areas of big cities there is a Christian church on every corner. And I’m not talking clones like these churches all follow the same understanding of their interpretation of the bible (insert Greatest God Joke every told by Emo Phillips here), I’m saying each and every one has their own ideas of how each word is to be parsed out so when the FOTUS says he’s bringing religion back I was never aware it had left.

Of course this is all in an effort to control us. Of course this was always the plan. Did none of the rest of you listen to the podcasts of our opponents? Did you not hear their plans to do exactly what they are doing now?

No one person is coming to save us. We each have to save ourselves and (this parts tricky) we have to do it all at the same time. I think I called it Independent Universal Action.

Anyway, those are my issues I needed folks to see. I do the deep dives so you don’t have to. I swim with the whales (metaphorically speaking) on the regular so getting the metaphorical bends aren’t an issue any more.
