MRFF,

Upon arriving to my Navy reserve center this morning, I cannot put into words my hopeless despair when I saw the POW table.  Despite our successful removal of the Bible from this display three years ago, there again sat the same exact Bible.  Its cover held the unauthorized print of the Navy’s insignia, as if somehow the Navy endorses Christianity above all other religions.  However, I was quickly comforted upon remembering how quickly you came to my aid before.  By simply emailing you a few pictures, my emotions calmed and I could return to my mission.

Despite it being an early Saturday morning, you and the MRFF once again jumped into immediate action, literally within minutes of contacting you all via email. I can’t thank you enough for promptly talking on the phone personally to the senior chain of command, protecting me as an anonymous service member, and holding the military accountable to religious neutrality as guaranteed in our U.S. Constitution.  I was further amazed by your dedication upon hearing you had returned home yesterday after almost 2 weeks in the hospital for surgery.  Where most people would be recovering, you chose to show selfless dedication to sailors like myself and on an early Saturday morning.

Thank you so much Mikey and the entire MRFF staff, and I wish you the best in your recovery, because America needs MRFF now more than ever.
